Ferguson's a young lad and in the process of improving. Elliott is 30 years old and really isn't that great, certainly not an ODi average of 50 player. Clear proof that averages can lie. FTR, I did see his hundred against the Aussies.

Australia have about 25 runs too many I reckon. Ferguson the stand out with 71* from 75 balls, very impressive.

260 alright total but really should have got more after our start. Wish we would stop being so boring during the middle overs, we no longer get those flying starts to be afforded this luxury. Of course didn't help our two big hitters throwing their wickets away.

In ODI's he is head and shoulders above everyone currently playing in this team.

Haha I think I brought up his stats as a bit of a joke to prove he isn't "bad". But as you said stats do lie sometimes and Elliott isn't anywhere as good as his stats say he is.
