Australia vs England ODI Series - 7 matches - Sep 4 to Sep 20

Really not buying into the excuse David Lloyd has just given for Denly, i can't believe a county cricketer will not have faced an off spin bowler, bowling outside the off stump, and this is why he carnt score off him, if this is true, in my opinion he shouldn't be playing international cricket.Im not knocking Denly havent seen enough of him, just going on David Lloyds comment.

You seem to have taken to the England bashing very well! Welcome fellow basher :p. How was Strauss out? I had to pop to the shops.

and I'm guessing Ponting took the bowling powerplay?

EDIT: Denly looks like he just wants to have a bit of a swing.

FFS, Australia, can you please give Ravi Bopara a 30-run headstart?

Prior better not scratch around before getting out for 10 off 35 balls. Denly has to score a hundred from here. If gets out in the next 10 overs we're screwed. Again.

:clap You called it, well done man! if there was a form of cricket where you had to get the best start possible and then screw it up. We would be world number 1!

Are we as England fans, the most frustrated fans in the world, ODI cricket anyway, pressure on we buckle, at times look like weve never picked a bat up, never mind used one before, and the running between wickets is just village green stuff [shah especially]. On that note Denly out, here we go again.

Geez the English certainly love to throw their wickets away.
Shah at least looking good here, two boundaries.

These are professional sportsmen, they should learn from their mistakes, but they don't. It's the same old rubbish time and time again.

Positive signs from Shah. Looks more confident than earlier in the series, HAS to make a big score.

glad mascarenhas is back in the side...much better bowler than wright and can hit at the end of the innings and has proved it! :hpraise

Yes agree, Prior in test matches bats at 7 comes in scores usually at a good rate, bats up the order in ODIs, and seems scared to play a shot, until like you say scores 10 off 30, then plays a shot and gets out, after wasting 5 overs, not the only one may i add, seems to be a trend in the top middle order, then we expect 9,10,and 11 to get us 100 runs in the last 10 overs, just not happening boys get a grip.:help

If ever England are going to make 275 in this series, today is the day. Good batting pitch this. Shah looks due for a good score and Prior might just be able to hang on for long enough as well.

Both these guys looking good here, only way they look like getting out is from throwing their wicket away.
