I did not ignore. I simply did not care to look for that post again. As soon as I saw Ashutosh claiming my role, I didn't need to bother about anything else.

You could be framing Ashutosh by capitalising on his poor play and claiming his own character right after he posted.

I cannot control the order of the posts. He simply posted at a time when I was not online. In fact, your role claim also came after I had logged off. So it's not like I saw your post and waited for him to post his. I simply just wasn't aware of the role claims being done until I logged back in a couple of hours later and found the two posts by you two.

It's understandable that you're questioning me and I find it perfectly fair. Like I said, I will do all that I can to convince you that I'm telling the truth.

When I came back online, I saw your alert in the quick view and came to the thread directly to see the posts from you and Ashutosh. So I got to see both claims at once.

So this confirms Ashutosh did see the post from LBW which revealed all the remaining roles. Very convenient that you managed to claim Spiderman and take advantage of me being offline for a couple of hours.

I had seen you viewing this thread throughout the day but not posting, and once you knew what the remaining roles were you jumped onto the opportunity to claim a townie? I do not know if you thought this through, but you could have named any other character and gotten away with it by explaining that maybe El Loco changed a couple of characters before the start of the game as LBW had known them all from the beginning. I would have truly believed that to be possible. But you went ahead and claimed my role....

My only crime was that I was the last one to reveal my role. I didn't do it intentionally, but such is the nature of mafia that it is always perceived as a mafia move even though the reasons might be genuine. I don't blame CK for doubting me. Hell, I would have done the same thing if I was in his shoes. But the fact that you chose to pick Spiderman of all heroes might prove to be your downfall. I'm using the word "might" because CK could very well believe you. But unless there is a chance to prove him I'm telling the truth, I'll keep on going.

Sure. Posting as little as possible, posting the obvious and waiting for someone to take action and follow them. Your Rebel lynch makes so much sense now.

I've gone through the whole thread, and i'm still stuck at 50-50.
@asprin seems believable, because @Ashutosh. 's posts do seem odd.
But he missed my role claim, and claimed the same character as Ashutosh right after him, which is a perfect way to set him up, using his odd posts as proof.
My brain can't decide, but my gut says this

Well done CK! As I said in the mafia thread, CK is a tough nut to crack, asprin. I think I played a poor game after Sod confirmed me as mafia. And I was really hoping asprin would lynch me because I was a goner and that would have cleared him maybe. Tough game to play as mafia with this being an open setup and most characters known.

In a race against time, they both laboured to stop him in his quest for power. Would they succeed, or had their efforts all but counted for nil?

You played as well as you could, asprin! Sod effed me by directly claiming town cop. I wouldn't have sacrificed myself that early and I am sure the town players remaining at the time are smart enough to know if he indirectlt hinted at me being a mafia.
