Johnson's speed frightened us - Siddons

Jamie Siddons, the Bangladesh coach, believes several of his batsmen were scared of Mitchell Johnson's speed and he blamed their "silly shots" for the team's dismal effort against Australia in Darwin. Chasing 255 for victory Bangladesh capitulated for 74, which was their lowest total in an ODI, and a clearly frustrated Siddons was searching for answers after the match.

no they needs confident, which they had when Dav was here and thats why we were able to beat the top guns ones in a while, and put up a good fight most of the time.
what ever the confidence dav left with us, siddons came and washed them away!
remember those comments? he literally said we suck, which isnt wrong. but you are our coach! a teacher!! you cant call your students that!! Dav worked with even a SUCKIER team, which used to have no talent. he never complained! he worked with the kids.
after the paki ture, siddions was like "who ever wished or hoped to win atleast one match, they dont know any thing about cricket"
funny part is, our captain before leaving for paki said " we would put up a good fight and atleast win one or two match"
so ash dont know cricket? and he is our captain!

The total looked about right, it was one of those low and slow scoring pitches. Both Marsh and Hussey struggled to score runs, Hussey doing the better of the two. But everyone else really struggled to get their timing right in particular the aggressive guys like Hopes and White.

Yeah, it is a pitch where the batsmen really have to focus on getting in first.

Marsh initially scored slowly while Hopes was able to slash to buoy the run rate and Shahadat also provided some bonus runs off the pad. Marsh scored his first 20 in 42 balls, but after getting set he scored the remaining 56 in 63 balls.

Mike Hussey, perhaps being the more experienced batsman and not facing a new ball, was able to score more consistent initial runs, scoring 20 in 34 and then taking 61 balls to get to 40. Past 40 he opened up a can, scoring 45 runs in just 26 balls.

With only confidence, will they be able to face the bouncers of Clarke, Johnson and Geeves? Even in the Pakistan tour, Gul, Tanvir, Wahab were taking adavantage of our batsmen's short heights.

Why would you blame Siddons? It's the BCB's fault Bashar had to step down as captain. If you look from Siddons' point of view, you would think this team is very talented and they have learned a lot from Dav Whatmore so they can adjust with any coach. But no, thats not the case in here, the talent is dying day by day and we are becoming worse.

I agree with Feelin Blue. In my opinion MacLovin you should take some people's advice for one and try to improve your foruming. You are already disliked amongst this forum. Here is what I suggest you do:

1. Stop making whole threads for seperate jokes. Use the one jokes thread.
2. Think before you post. Think does this add to the discussion and what will it do for my reputation?
3. You don't have to post. As far as I know I am generally liked amongst this forum, and I hardly post.

For now I would jut chill and improve your posting.

Oh, and if I were you I would take this advice, I've been in your position where everyone hates me, and I thought there was no way out, but trust me, I know from experience, there is. I have done it (or am currently doing it).
