Bangladesh in Australia Aug-Sept 2008

Where can we get scorecards for these practice games?
To be honest, who knows? I swear even the Bangladesh Academy is getting better coverage.

Credit for this partial scorecard goes to Billah at banglacricket.com. I'm not really sure how he sourced it, but he seems to have been in contact with someone in Darwin. Apparently, the Bangaldeshis lost by 14 runs; they had 4 wickets in hand after 40 overs, but were bowled out in the final over.

AIS 4/330
Peter Forrest 83
Greg Moller 74

Bangladeshis 316
Tamim Iqbal 85
Mohammad Ashraful 71

Could Forrest change NSW fortunes in the OD arena? Certainly will improve the batting side of things.
Good win for the AIS, Bangladesh made a decent reply but must be worrying for them to lose to the AIS.

That was really unlucky, poor bowling but we tried hard thats what matters :cheers

Good knocks by Tamim and Ash

and we lost because of Mehrab Hossain, he scored 24 off 54 what was he doing?

Alright, well Cricinfo is now updating the scores so no need to check in those websites anymore :)

Forrest might be able to turn around after a lot of low scores last year, but I'd put more money on Warner being the catalyst.

Then it's just a case of getting the bowling sorted which was a massive problem for NSW.

Finally got to see the scorecard, Henriques had a good all round display and Holland bowled well. Quite the knock by Wade, similar to a Ronchi/Gilly knock. Will be interesting seeing if he gets an opening spot for Victoria.

Holland has done so well in youth and minor cricket, it is hard to believe he hasn't played any at first class level yet. At this rate the Australian selectors will be paying more attention than the Victorian ones.

Brett Lee is out of the squad, replaced by Brett Geeves. Bangladeshis won the second game.

AIS 8/284 (50.0)
Michael Hill 59

Bangladeshis 7/288 (44.5)
Mohammad Ashraful 56
Dhiman Gosh 56

Yey! Lee is out of series! Thats a very good news for Bangladesh...

Good to see Bangladesh winning the match, well batted by Dhiman. Actually it was Mashrafe who scored 56 not Ashraful :happy

Actually the problem is that Bangladeshi batsmen are scared of Lee. Remember World T20? Bangladesh were looking to get a good score but Lee destroyed the middle order with the hattrick.

damn it i just opened a new thread on this match
. can any one delete the thread pls?

Never watch 20/20, khalek, so I'm not too sure to be honest.
