Bangladesh tour of England, May-July 2010

Results like yesterday make the case even stronger for two tiers, and that is principally to get the non-Test nations into Tests/ODIs in the same structure as the Test nations and not simply so the Test nations and their fans can cry about not playing such and such, or getting demoted, or how it might cost them money etc.

A league with Ireland, Zimbabwe, West Indies, Bangladesh, Kenya and another side or two would produce great cricket in my view and generate interest that fades the more and more you watch the same sides producing the same results ie the current Test "championship". All people live for in the current set-up is upsets

Really, top 8 teams divided into 2 groups. Group A & Group B

India
Australia
South Africa
Srilanka

&&

England
Pakistan
Newzealand
West Indies in other group.

Play to rise up the rankings as well as to add in Tier A

Ireland were struggling but this partnership is good. If they can reach 210 some how that is another 50 runs in 5 overs then there are all chances to win :)

Mooney's smacking them everywhere :) Hopefully they can get to a good competitive total. Johnston's bowling will put Bangladesh under pressure to score so they'll take risks and may lose wickets quickly

There is still chance of rain.

46 over match will be at most might just reduce to 40. So 200+ score will be good. They already scoring at 10 runs per over since last 8 overs :)

And with that a wicket :doh

Come on Ireland

Johnston can bat, but once one of these two are out, it shouldn't take long for the rest of the side to get out

And gone!! ████ man I wanted them to score a minimum of 200 runs.

I jinxed him :facepalm

Unless Rankin and Dockerell have hidden batting talents, this innings could be over soon

Mooney is really a big threat to Bangladesh right now. He can help them reach 200

Yes and I jinxed him :crying

190 to win. Need to pick early wickets to win

Good professional 10 & 11 effort. No boundaries, but they batted out the innings and added 13 runs. Some better paid players could learn from that.
