That is the reason I came on to this forum after the match got over. Mr Lawson made some ambitious statements before the game but sadly exactly the opposite happened.I feel sorry for him.

India-Pakistan matches have lost a great deal of importance, in my eyes. The contest I expect every time I sit down to watch an India-Pakistan match is what we saw during India's tour to Pakistan in 2004 (the ODI series, that is).

I wanna laugh but it would be insulting to Pakistan's fans. They have fallen off pretty badly after having been one of the most feared teams from the subcontinent. They surely need a different captain. Shoaib Malik is useless. Doesnt inspire his team, and doesnt lead the troops with any aura on the field.

And Lawson? 150 run win? Wow... I wished India won by 150 runs instead of 140.. Would have made Lawson go red. I miss the Pakistan of those days when guys like Aquib Javed terrorised the Indians. Then, it was amazing competition. Now its time when India can level their record against Pakistan with some easy wins.

Would be pretty tough to see India lose the final (even though we cant predict!). And India look overwhelming favorites for the Asia cup now with this team. Great job by Praveen and Chawla. Our bench strength looks awesome now.

I agree with Shravi.Earlier people used to bunk work,school to catch a India-Pak game.Nowadays,its become too common.
I didnt watch the match completely too.

Nevertheless, a 140 run victory is fantastic. Hope we win this cup.

I hate to be a moron, but they play Yusuf Pathan, bad enough, and then put him ahead of Raina in the batting line up. Hilarious stuff, right there.

I think they put him up there to accelerate the scoring and to hit some big shots-That sadly did not happen.

Yes, but Raina himself is pretty aggressive, and was on smoking form, plus Yusuf's big hitting would have been useful at the end. But let's forget it, it's his debut, pretty harsh on him.
