Bangladesh Tri-Series

rohit sharma and rp have looked out of soughts and both belong to the deccan chargers.

RP = Just a bit of bad form maybe complacency... he'll get back soon. He has proved that he is a champion bowler who has a lot of capability. I think Deccan Chargers failed because of
1) Lack of co ordination (they didn't gel as such)
2) The big international stars didn't bat well(besides Gilly - The legend)
3) The 4 international players only rule
4) The Indian (domestic) bowlers and batsmen were not that great (besides RP and Rohit who played well)

Basically only Gilly, Rohit and RP performed consistently even though RP's economy rate was bad I agree but RP is a big match player I guess.

RP is actually a really good bowler. Its just that Deccan kind of got him down...

RP, Ishant, Praveen, Chawla and Pathan are our perfect one day bowlers.

Nasim Ashraf has slammed the Pakistan team.Read here

Except for a few on the field, the body language was not competitive. We were smiling and joking as if we were some junior team which was happy just to be given the privilege of playing a top team. This has to stop.

They weren't that bad...

He may have exaggerated it slightly.

I wont say he is a champion bowler. but he is certainly a useful bowler with good pace and movement. He needs to be more consistent in his line and length (though he is way better than the mercurical Sreesanth)

rp no doubt is a very good bowler but he is off the boil big time, not just in the ipl but he wasnt upto the mark in the tests against south africa and was dropped for the 3rd test, his pace has gone down too.

he is a very talented bowler he has the best action a leftarmer can have,
he can bang it in if needed at pace up to 145 and also swing it,

remember guys he is just 22

RP Singh = Fails in all conditions that don't give him assistance.

what are you talking about are you taking to head the views of foolish indian commentators ,he on debut in pakistan on pitches on which i could score a double century he took 5 wickets.he was coming bac k from a injury in sa test series,we as fans should not be so hasty in our judgement.the guy was our top bowler last year,gi ve him somne time

about pace ,the speedometers used by espn star, tensports, neosports, max
actually show the speed when the ball hits the groud, not from the hand
so dont worry he is still bowling in 140s

I think mods are biased (changed from something else). They have sticked other international threads but this thread is still down

speedmeters all around the world show the speed after the ball is released and before it hits the ground....

How is it bias, Sid?

It may be that we aren't attentive enough (I was actually thinking about other tours around the world going on and thought of this), but we aren't bias. You can always drop us a helpful reminder.:)

Pakistan's biggest problem looked to be the extras column. 38 in an ODI is FAR too many. Compare that to India's. Sure it was less overs, but no wides or no-balls in 35.5 overs. They need to improve on that. (Of course that wasn't the only problem) Not disciplined enough bowling.
And there's a positive of Twenty20 cricket. :p

I am impressed by PK's bowling. I never thought he'd have a chance in ODI's but he's not put a foot wrong yet.

If PK can double up with the bat, well,he would certainly fix his spot in the team then.
