Bedi: Harbhajan is also a chucker

I've met Bedi. He is suspicious about everyone. He even called me a chucker though I'm a wicket keeper.

Yeah, I think Harbhajan's action was reported, but it was proved that it was within the rules.

I'm surprised there isn't more said about Kyle Mills and S Sreesanth, both of whom have quite dodgy actions.

Sreesanth are you serious?

Bedi's mind chucks.

I think the old limit was 5 degrees for fast bowlers and spinners alike, whereas now I think it's 10 degrees for fast bowlers and 15 degrees for spinners. As I said, under the old rules, Ramnaresh Sarwan was the only person that was deemed to bowl legally.
I think under the old rules it was something like 5 degrees for fast bowlers and 7.5 degrees for spinners. Or something like that. I thought the limit is 15 degrees for everyone now?

As for Bedi, I've stopped taking him seriously for a while now. Bhajji's action is a little dodgy but I do believe it is well within the limits. If you want to see a chucking off spinner, look up Rajesh Sharma (I believe that is his name).

Bedi can go fornicate himself with a rusty gate pole. Does he ever say anything good?

Not quite, no. I wouldn't believe anything that Bedi has to say. Harbhajan does have a dodgy action but he was cleared so, it shouldn't be any issue. About Murali, well nobody likes the fact that he has taken more wickets than Warne so, they keep calling for his action. It does look dodgy but I have read plenty on this topic and deduced that he is well within the ICC rules, end of story.

At least we have Monty as a Sikh ambassador of cricket, Bedi and Harbhajan are both embarrassing - I assure you, we are not all arrogant, loud mouths.

Bedi says everything which goes through his head. Heck, I see Harbhajan and Muralitharan and think "chuck" but recognise that they are inside the rules and have been scientifically proved so several times - he should too.

Please. Will you just type normally for a change? It would do us all a massive favour.

Spinners were 10 degress under the old rules, Medium pacers were 7.5, quicks 5. Under current rules it's 15 for everyone. the old rules were stupid, no fairness.

Just plain crap to adjust bowlers like Bhajji, Murli, Akhtar and Lee.

The laws had to be changed becuase they were proven to be out of line with most bowlers actions, including bowlers with 'perfect' actions. They also had to scrap different degrees for different types of bowlers. It's been a good thing for Cricket the law changes, it's taken us forward.

All this means that we will have more Murli coming up and what.:crying

We've suffered so much over the years, I can't wait until he hangs up his fingers/boots.

I'm not exactly sure what the rules are or were, but I had the feeling there is a bit of a difference between how much flexion a fast bowler and spin bowler can have.

Yeah, I've seen Sreesanth play quite a bit in South Africa and England and I thought his action looked a little dubious. My fears weren't helped when a friend (who saw Sreesanth live in South Africa) said his action was really dodgy, especially sitting parallel to the pitch.

Untrue. The old rules allowed between 5-10 degrees bending depending on your type of bowling. Quite a few notable bowlers broke this rule but certainly not everyone bar Sarwan.

I believe you are referring to the tests at the ICC Champions Trophy 2004 where only Sarwan did not have straightening of his arm.

Maybe I am getting a little bit confused. I haven't really investigated the chucking issue much, so it wouldn't surprise me if I've got a couple of things wrong.
