Well Cricinfo has him for both Bihar and Jharkhand so we're good. :p.

They're just as bad as each other though tbh.

Plus, Dhoni's a different batsman when he's captain. He's got an average of 55 as captain in test matches compared to his average of 33 when he's not captain. In ODIs he averages 56 as captain and 44 when he's not captain.

Why does a players domestic team have any effect on his record? Alastair Cook plays FC cricket for Essex, they're not a particularly good FC side but he plays for England. Think that's a pretty poor attempt at an excuse for what is a disappointing FC record, especially considering his record in ODi's.

Infrastructure in Bihar/Jharkhand is horrible. The team is shite, more often then not Dhoni is in early with people falling all around him like flies. Obviously its a tough job. Plus, he matured really late in his career, he's a much better batsman now.

Dire thread. Some people can;t obviously stand the fact that Dhoni is as good as any wicketkeeper batsman in the world but are deliberately trying to paper over it with utterly pointless and idiotic statistical comparisons.

Dhoni has not so bad record so far with the bat and is doing splendidly behind the stumps. Prior is a good batsman, but not even a county class keeper. Haddin has proven only on roads in Australia and struggled royally in India, that it was hardly a joke. Boucher has been the most enduring of the lot, but again, his batting record is no way superlative. McCullum has not had a single 100 against test class nations in ODIs or Tests since debut, and that should end all arguments.

Dhoni it is. And the poll results justify it.

Can noone change my vote? I didn't mean to vote Prior, I may be patriotic but I do know that Dhoni is better :p

Best batsmen would have to be Dhoni, by a fair bit. Boucher would have to be the best with the gloves. It's out of these two, for the best wicket-keeper it would be Boucher, but the title says wicket-keeper batsmen, so at the moment it's Dhoni.

If Haddin continues his batting and picks up his keeping to his past domestic form he will be considered more in 6-18 months time.

Nah the best batsmen isn't Dhoni, he's decent with the bat in tests nothing more, it would probably be Haddin or Prior both probably could make International cricket on batting alone.
The best gloveman would be Boucher easily but both keeping and batting together Dhoni's probably the best together.

Surprised that Dhoni is beating Boucher by so much. You guys do know this is for Test cricket?
I'm a bit surprised too. I mean, I did vote for Dhoni, but really because Boucher's batting hasn't convinced me recently. I didn't expect MSD to win by so much.

It does make sense tho. MSD edges out the others by the skin of his teeth, but he is better...
