Sehwag finds it harder to make runs without fielding restrictions on. He would be applicable if a hapless spinner were bowling, though.

You CAN make 30 runs in an over 8 times (or as many times as you want). You CANNOT make 30 runs 8 times in an over. It is just not possible.

(Think it out loud and do some math... I am just having a bit of fun with the words and how you put it! :laugh No offence, just a bit of kidding....)
shahid lol wat i mean by about 8 times i have done is when i play Stickcricket there has about 8 moments or maybe more wen i scored 30 runs in an over. But if u have someone who keeps on throwing no balls and u r hitting sixes u can get 240 runs in an over lol

It takes you an hour to score 30 runs in stick cricket??? What kinda slow-ass computer or dialup connection do YOU have??
By the way we are digressing from the topic... dont want to get the moderators mad... :mad... so I'll just add... AFRIDI RULES!!! (sometimes)

Jcob Oram ??? Justin Kemp ????? they might have done some big hitting in some matches but they r nowhere near the class of an Afridi or Cairns ?
My pick is Cairns closely followed by afridi
Ganguly too is right up there
He can clobber attacks and can hit huge sixes evn of fast bowlers
I can remember him smashing some huge sixes off Shaun Pollock in 2001 tour to SA .
Sachin used to hit quite a few sixes but off late he has mellowed bown quite a bit
Sehwag is one of the cleanest strikers of the cricket ball and he is a genuine top order batsman and scores mostly of crisp cuts and drives to all parts of the ground .
Sehwag scores quickly but mostly 4s but when he faces spinners u can expect a few sixes
He did not even spare warne !
U shud have had sehwag and Ganguly or Yuvraj there

Schin and Ganguly both have hit 7 sixes in an innings
Do u guys remember the way he smashed SRL in 1999 WC at taunton?

Yuvraj is viable but I don't think you expect the rest of the players mentioned here to play down the order. If you've got to a point where you need 30 runs in the last over, I'm sure the top order is more or less gone, or you should have been able to get the target down to an easier rate, with wickets in hand.

EDIT: Mentioned here as in those mentioned by people posting, not the original list.

Surprised no one took Polly.Remember the match in New Zealand where SA needed 24 off one over and he smashed Mills and was only 2 runs short.Anyway, kemp has just played a brilliant innings,so I think he should be there and who could forgett the ICC champ trophy when Oram smacked USA for all those runs(OK,the USA,but still....)

You think Kemp is ahead of players like Gilchrist, Sehwag, Jayasuriya, Trescothick etc?
Well I don't even know who Justin Kemp is for starters (off the top of my head.) ;)
Well known 'big hitters' should be above him! :cheer

Only reason I know of him was because he was in International Cricket Captain 2002!
