R.I.P Woolmer - very sad day this

These few days are absolutely shocking :( first the tragic death of Manjural Islam and now Bob Woolmer . Cricket world has lost two great human beings . God Bless Their Souls . R.I.P :upray

A very sad news indeed. Woolmer was a great coach and more importantly - a great human being.

This now teaches a lesson to all the fans around the world that cricket is just a sport and should not be taken as a matter of life and death. Teams in sub-continent specially play under a tremendous pressure and sometimes they can also tumble under pressure like they did on March 17.

I now request all the Indian fans to get behind the team and don't terrorize them with what some of you have been doing after that defeat to Bangladesh.

R.I.P. Bob - a true legend, who gave all his life to cricket and probably paid for it.

Apologies, that wasnt meant in a disrespectfull way, just trying to prove the shock as it was announced.

My thoughts are with his family and friends.

Rip

Rest in peace mister Bob :(
the newspaper says police fears he commited suicide after the loss :( everything will be confirmed after the autopsy report but he was a great man
Pakistan let his pride down Im very sad and crying :(

Just like to add my condolances...a sad and untimely passing. Thoughts go out to his family and friends.

I'm really shocked after i saw this news,,,

what makes me more shocked is that some pakistani cricket fans wished him dead, i wish those stipid idiots got what they want,,Its really sad that asian players go throught this. bieng a cricket crazy nation like India & Pakistan ,those players are in real pressure..
After all cricket is just a sport.. I 'm really sad about woolmer's death. I think he might have commited suicide. Well You never know if someone had even poisend him.

these things should never happen in sport,,, And i think Asians cricket fans should be a support to their teams in good tmes and bad,

Thats why Sri lanka for a example have enough of support from thier fans in times of good and bad..

i dont think it was suicide there must hav been some other reason

RIP Bob Woolmer He dedicated most of his life to cricket, contibuted to the development of the game immeasurably and will be hugely missed :(

As was said on TMS, in a way, Ireland winning was a victory for him.

If vomite and blood were found around him and on the walls, well it could be a number of things. Maybe we shouldn't speculate, and wait for the autopsy results to be released.
