Will we need an Optional GamePlay Patch?

zMario that's what I was asking boss couple dayss before about it, that it's too eassy to hit sixes even you don't time the ball well... everything else is good.... zMario man why don't you try tusi 7.5 beta...it's hard... much better patch than his early patches..
 
Thats because some of the advance six shots have not been found. But really, any patch if you use advance six smashes your going to score @ a ridiculas amount. You guys should try your tournament without the slogs, it makes the game so much more interesting :)
 
I dont get any sixes while i am playing with the patch,I cant even hit it for six some times i do but not all the time,because I use to play with tustsis patch and i hit every ball with that patch but with this one i cant,so you guys are wrong

At ones stage they were 23/4(5 overs)
2 runouts in all, 1 from the bug, 1 while they were trying to take a double.
2 edges(one each of the two pacers) and two catches off the exact shot both to Hogg at extra cover(again one each for the pacers)

England just collapsed........maybe I bowled well? I found that if you keep bowling outside off on this kind of pitch they keep going for thier shots.

G.Jones really played well, his 14 coming off 21 balls, Gough edging almost all deleveries(none caught, many stopped) except for one where he ran 6 and one clear shot.

Really poor performance. Maybe it was the pitch? Or maybe my bowling was spot on today? This match was just too easy....
 
Pacing certainly seems a bit strange. England chasing 320 and scoring happily at 4 an over. No attacking shots to speak of and plenty of forward defensives and leaves. I bowled 2 maidens in the first 15!

yeh boss....well have u been able to fix the thing in which edges from spinners go as fast and as high as edges go against pace bowlers?

i'm varying a couple of thinks that work well now to make the spin produced edge to go more faster!, i.e making initial power to '0' and power area '150000' working some what adjustent to me!

cant wait 4 ure new patch

still i can't believe this!!!, u may be a GoD!!!, coz the max score so for i achi in 20 ove ODI is 185. :eek:

that prob have been fixed in CGPv2 preet!, now u have to time it well, if u go for a same 6 hit shot every now u may have the good chance of losing u'r wicket!, thanx mate!!!

U may be right mate!!!, the pacing for every pitch type is same!, we can't change that!, but rather i've to do some thing different to get this right!!!

Hi colin!, the prob with pacing is "it don't have any random options" i.e .to play differently reg to the situation rather the AI is looking dumply at the pacing file whether it is chasing 150 or 300!, no matter what so ever!, i'm currently working on that, let see what'll happen?, may be a solun avail in CGPv3 :rolleyes:

1. The AI is improved even better (in terms of shot selection, pacing the innings, field placements)

2. The Shot's power is tweaked in an enhanced way that make sure the same shot will not produce same results!

3. The Shot's co-ordinates are edited according to real life cricket!!!

4. Few field modifications made!!!

5. The Edge is even for every bowler now!, so don't carried away when u bowl with a spinner!, keeping up a slip is always handy!

6. The CPU pacing is improved, it starts steadily and go for a burst in btw and build an innings smoothly, then will go sweet mad in final overs and slog it around to get a figurable score!

7. The shot selection for both CPU and us is common now!, u can't always connect the ball 100%, it may be several time beaten or even taking wickets with that if the shot selection went wrong!

8. In test matches u have to really set before go!, coz early on u may get lots of nicks if u go for a off side shots early!,

9. Same applied to ODIs, even u have to think twice to go for a 6 hit before u set, coz it is more random now!!!

10. Now u can get CPU wicket by "Bowled: is well, i'm making them(for the matter of truth us is well) vulnerable when the ball pitched at stumps regularly!

11. I don't give any spl lenience to CPU!!!, it'll be like 50-50 to us!!!, what ever happen to us is same applied to them is well!!! :rolleyes:

12. Better oppositions do play well than u at times!!!

13. GameHardcoreConfig included(Optional) (U have to pull u'r socks off and tighten u'r seat belt before play!, man it's simply hard to play!!! :help )

14. FunnyGameConfig included!!!(Optional) (i laugh my head off when i play with this!, eg: the fielders are playing "Through Ball" game when the ball head in their way, and u can hit huge 6's, Yeah!, some kind of GoD Mode!!! ;) )

and many more to follow in CGPv2!!!

boss which stroke are u editing for making edges against spinners realistic? coz i guess there is one stroke which is used for both PACE and SPIN. so how are u tackling that?

No!, what i'm trying to do is get more variational power to the edges of the spinners is well!, i.e both are even!!!, the pity is so for there is only one working edge file!!!

So ideally you'll have some dropping short, some being caught and some flying past the slips for both the spinners and pacemen. I've done similar myself, but I can't get it to look right. Be interested to see what you've come up with.

Game Modes:

As it was in previous patches, this patch supports All game modes (Easy- for beginners, Normal- for amateurs, and Hard- for pro's, (planning on HardCoreMode and GoD mode) as well as All Game Versions (Tests, ODIs).

CGPv2 Hi-lights:

13. Advanced down wicket shots are turned down a bit. (specially adv leg glance is terminated!)

14. The Seam movement is very prominent now!, (at times it may look like Swing!!!)

15. Bowling Cursor is varied on the Game mode. It is very hard to bowl in Hard mode on the same
spot again and again. For lesser quality there is a bigger cursor indeed!

16. Ball bumpyness depends on the pitch type now!!
