Buchanan suggests two-innings-a-side in ODIs

Answer for the JB's Question:.

T20 = Enjoyment + Slog.

Then, 50-50 = 2 X 20 Overs + 1 X 10 Overs.:D.

Replacing 20 By Enjoyment and 10 With Slog.

Therefore, 50-50 = 2 X enjoyment + 1 X Slog.

We get, 50-50 = 2(enjoyment) + 1(Slog).

So, :), 50-50 has doubled enjoyment than we get in T20 and The Same amount of slog we can see in T20 after 30 overs. So, 20 Overs will be remaining to complete the 50 Over innings AS Well AS The Slog period starts in the match.;). So, It's Rather than a T20 with some variations. So, i don't think it makes any sense having 2 innings like a Test match and 25 overs like a Twenty 20. 50-50 is Class! ....
BTW, maybe a new format of cricket can be introduced with the JB's Ideas. The idea isn't that bad though.

So,:), If anyone doesn't understand this theory, Go, learn maths from John Buchanan.:p.:D.

P.S. i'm not finished. i'll update this post.:p.:D.

no good, two full innings with 10 wickets per 25 overs
and like county champ bonus points for first innings lead.
both totals added togethor and means players like haydos, flintoff and KP will bat twice in the day
more risk more chance

It's a stupid idea if he means letting teams essentially bat twice. It will only open up the gap between the best and the worst teams, meaning that there would be less close and tense games between the best and the rest.

To be honest everybody at some point has thought up there own wacky ideas to re create cricket so even have come upwith the same ideas as Buchanan but its will never get there cricket should be left how it is, Test, ODI's and T20's

yeah, if they want to change something, maybe Twenty20 game, because it's just a funny thing.. Leave TEST CRICKET and ODI alone!!!

Thats bloody brilliant. Everyone agree and he might just shut up...I wonder who is paying for his opinions.

you never know what PCB is up to..

I wouldnt be surprised to see the PCB have this format for their next domestic ODI season :p

Stupid idea. John Buchanan is just keeping the world informed of what John Buchanan thinks. There's nothing John Buchanan likes to talk about more than what John Buchanan thinks. Because all of Australias test wins for the last 84 years have been the work of John Buchanan and his computer.

John Buchanan.
