May 2nd 2007 - Sussex at Hove tomorrow. Those southern fairies are gonna pay for what thye did to us last year. They stole both the LVCC and the C&G trophy from us and now it's time for our revenge. We are going to do more than beat them, we are going to thrash them. We want to bea them so much that they'll think twice before ever crossing us again. I'm up for it just as all the lads are. It's game on.
I guarantee that Chilts will have both of these trophies this season.
Crunch Time
May 3rd 2007 - Judgement day! It's the big one. It's about revenge, it's about making them pay, it's about showing them not to mess with Lancashire, it's about winning and it's about winning well. I'm not in the mood to say much because i'm pumped; More pumped up than Rob Key at tea-time. All I will say is that Chilts won the toss yet again and we are batting first on a green seamer's track and i'd loved to have bowled on it actually. Now it was time to focus, we have to beat Sussex.
I was also surprised to see that I was batting at 5. I was happy with this, it means I can get an early chance to bash Sussex in.
An eerie silence fills the ground as the action is moments away.
