Well I under estimated your team, you have done well to improve it a lot since the days of those hammerings ;) you've got a good little squad, more than capable of causing some of us some problems including the best teams on here.

Is somebody sounding worried there? :p

Not at all, I would destroy you ;)

Again I've easily won the Cup match... Who else is left?
Im left, and I know you find it hard to beat me :p

Shame your in the Pakistani cup though, id quite fancy you to win that actually.

Atkinson went for 33 off his 5 overs on Friday on this pitch. Came back and gaven only 12 more in his next spell. Crouch didn't take any wickets. That was the problem. He was too tired, I wasn't banking on him to score a century...
Up to Tuckett and Andrews now. And don't forget Rudi. Andrews went for 22 in his first spell, gave away 10 in his second and wiped the tail. Tuckett was kinda reversed - 0/11 first five, 2 wickets for a few in the second half. So basically Crouch not striking early will have a big effect. By the time Tuckett and Andrews click, it might be too late...

The Pakistani and Indian cups are the easiest. West Indies is pretty tough despite it's small size, after 2-3 rounds your bound to run into a team with a NT or U-19 player in it. And if you don't have one yourself, or an excellent all-round squad, you're done. The Indian and pakistan NT and U-19 squad are ridiculously weak anyways. If Tuckett and Rudi were Pakistani/Indian, they'd probably be in the running for the U-19 squad! I might have even been asked to give them 5 nets each...

Too well. Tuckett is un-usually poor so far. Andrews rarely does better than him. Something tells me Tuckett is gonna have a bad day -which ruins my chances- or come back with a vengence...

But I think I've made a mistake playing on a Dusty. My hopes lay with Crouch with the new ball. He's failed there. The spinners will take a litlle longer to click, and the same with Atkinson. I need Rudi to perform...

To be honest, dusty's playing into my hands; its what I would have prepared had I been at home. Also, may sound odd, but Crouch's century has also probably helped, especially considering it was a fairly slow one. Means my 2 key batsmen, Mason and Heath, get as easier start than they would otherwise.

18.2 W Tuckett to Heath
Advanced, picked up straight to Rudi at mid on for an easy catch.

Uh-oh. Fieldwicks in, he's got an important job to do here....

Tuckett strikes!

Thats better. Andrews is being very economical. Now if Rudi can provide a few more breakthroughs, keep the runs down, I am in with a shot. If the RRR is 5+ when Tuckett and Andrews return, I can win.

I wasn't expecting Crouch to bat for so long. I expected him, at the worst, to come in at the 30-35th over, and slog a quick 40-50. Wouldn't have tired him that much at all. But the long innings has. Hopefully he will be ready to bowl in the final 10...
Andrews on a maiden. Wonderful little spell from him...

Atkinson back on. He can redeem himself with a wicket, or a tight spell at the least.

End of Over 21: 93-1, runrate=4.43, reqrunrate=5.17 (242-10)
Rudi 1-0-6-0
Fieldwick* 1 (8 balls)
Mason 52 (62 balls)

Last Wicket: Heath c. Rudi b. Tuckett 35 (FOW: 84/1)

Runs starting to flow again in Rudi's over, including Mason's 50. Need to accelerate a little.

Maybe I should have opened the bowling with Rudi instead. I am starting to regret batting first, despite having won majority of my matches doing that. I seem cursed while batting first here on PC...

I always bowl first when I can. My side's always been better at bowling then batting, so setting good targets is not easy at all.

My side is better at bowling too. They are especially good at defending. I dislike chasing for the pressure it sets on my batsmen, and on me!
You need 143 runs to winn of 160 balls. I need 9 wickets. I need Rudi to strike here.

End of Over 23: 100-1, runrate=4.35, reqrunrate=5.30 (242-10)
Rudi 2-0-8-0
Mason* 56 (66 balls)
Fieldwick 4 (16 balls)

I really need to get a shift on...
