RRR over 8, but:

43.3 4 Rudi to Purse
Short and pulled away.
43.2 1 Rudi to Griffin
Wide delivery, late cut, deep backward point runs in to field.
43.1 1 Rudi to Purse
That's a neat little late cut through the vacant third slip region for a single.

47 to win off 36 balls. 6 wickets in hand, RRR of 7.83

Rudi is having a poor game. 7-0-40-0. He has to pull it back, but I have a feeling he won't be able to. The legend Ryan Crouch is to bowl. Poor guy, the rest of the squad - bar Bunn, Andrews and Tuckett- have failed to back him up...

They say legends have a way of silencing there critics with performances in the field. Freddie mocked him before the game. How does he respond? 103, and this:

44.3 W Crouch to Purse
Big nick and an easy catch for Bolder.

You are a true legend, Ryan Crouch! :hpraise

Jarrett is the last player I'm relying on. Basson is a good young keeper and will be an excellent player but is nowhere near the finished article yet. If you get to Bowditch, you win.

37 to win of 30 overs. This is getting way to close. Jarrett seems a quick scorer. RRR is 7.40

45.4 6 Rudi to Jarrett
Jarrett, keen to get down the boozer, dispatches that one with an almightly thwack! Mine's a pint, big man!

Yep, Jarrets ons of the fastest scorers in the team. He either gets out quicky or sees the job through, lets hope its the letter here!

Crouch gets hammered, but a huge breakthrough:

46.4 W Crouch to Jarrett
Oh what a catch. Crouch has pussycat-like reflexes.

One more wicket in the over would be great...

46.3 4 Crouch to Jarrett
A half volley is easy pickings for Jarrett. The ball races away through the covers for four.
46.2 4 Crouch to Jarrett
It's a nick that has dropped in front of the slip cordon and squirmed through Cox's legs - and off to the boundary for four!

Legend! I don't really know why I bought him to be honest, but he's proving me right here! He's a good squad man - he can bowl a bit bat a bit and keep a bit, but its a case of jack or all trades, master of none.

15 to win. 1 of these 2 needs to be here at the end for me to have a chance.

End of Over 47: 228-6, runrate=4.85, reqrunrate=5.00 (242-10)
Crouch 9-0-55-3
Griffin* 7 (9 balls)
Basson 1 (2 balls)

Last Wicket: Jarrett c & b. Crouch 21 (FOW: 225/6)

15 required off 18 balls now. Jarrett's brilliant 21 has turned this game on it's head. Griffin on strike. If Rudi can get this wicket, all will be forgiven. The legend as done all he could.

11 to win off 14...

47.6 4 Rudi to Basson
Basson flashes at that one, and the slips watch in dismay as it scuttles to the boundary. A bit streaky that.
47.5 1 Rudi to Griffin
Griffin is finding the gaps like a minibus taxi in rush hour traffic.
47.4 1 Rudi to Basson
Nice stroke and they push hard for the single but brilliant work by Dunn results in a direct hit; time for the third umpire. Not out is the decision, one run to the batting side.
47.3 1 Rudi to Griffin
Outside edge, into the gap at slips, third man running in to field.
47.2 1 Rudi to Basson
With soft hands, Basson drops the ball at his feet and steals a quick run.
47.1 1 Rudi to Griffin
Nurdles the ball away to third man.

Superb over for me there.

End of Over 48: 237-6, runrate=4.94, reqrunrate=3.00 (242-10)
Rudi 9-0-59-0
Griffin* 10 (12 balls)
Basson 7 (5 balls)

Thats the situation.

Griffin out! This is going to the wire!

48.1 W Crouch to Griffin
Quick pick up and throw by Dunn, direct hit on the stumps, Griffin has carried on running to the pavilion.

6 to win, 2 overs to go. Rudi was very poor.

It has to be finished in this over, there is no other hope. Crouch has to take atleast 3 wickets here. Absolutely no support from the rest of my squad, poor old Crouch has done all he could, yet I fear this task is too big even for a legend as himself.

Griffin gone! 2 more runs taken, 4 to win off 9 balls. Bowditch on strike.

1 more from Bowditch. The win is only a shot away. 2 balls in the over, Crouch has to get a few wickets. Now or never.
