Commentary Thread

I looked expecting my usual thrashing off the Aussie beltas and looking at this reporters summary you would think I was right
Reporter's Summary
Aussie Beltas Broady
Top Order: proficient feeble
Middle Order: feeble mediocre
Lower Order: worthless abysmal
Seam Bowling: mediocre mediocre
Spin Bowling: feeble feeble
Fielding: woeful abysmal
Smehow I made 339 continuing my good form, Blair making 91 off 62, Thay making 109 and Hall 89* off 75. Then I bowled them out for 213, Sadlier with 4-45 and Cameron 3-46. Must have rested a few players for this to happen!

Wowww... What a match it was! :hpraise:hpraise:hpraise

Quintus was the key wicket as he was very well settled.

So many turning points really :p Sawyer looked like he was going to win it until he got out.

Looks like Brett rested some of his bowlers but the key for you was getting Hanson cheaply.

And that's the end of the match. Pakistani Pingers won by 47 runs.
Pakistani Pingers 259-4
Hampton Central CC 212-10

Hiller's knock was superb, but my 2nd, 3rd and 4th best batsmen all made ducks, not a good sight, when you were relatively close....

Hey Suren did you get 3 extra balls?
Some how I bowled 50.3 overs to you with Barrowdale getting 10.3 overs.

hehe.. i also noted now. It was actually 49.3 Overs with last two balls(49.2 and 49.3) being the wicket taking deliveries. :)

I beat Borncricketer by 11 runs today. :)
Wow thats a good result!

My game has only just had the commentary go up, and I see Bushwackers are playing a very weakend team, and im putting them to the sword ;)
End of Over 44: 275-1, runrate=6.25

Folkes* 19 (12 balls)
Green 144 (143 balls)

Last Wicket: Ainsworth c. Fieldhouse b. Nile 108 (FOW: 243/1)
7 of the 11 playing today for me are being rested on Tuesday for the FC, so should be interesting to see how we go there.

Wills 10-0-71-0
Folkes* 41 (28 balls)
Green 180 (163 balls)

Possibly going to be the most interesting match of the day, Spinners United vs. The Falcons! No, I am not joking!

The Falcons 256/9 (50 Overs)
Shabhaz 111
Shorey 66
Riaan 3/55
Cronin 3/60

On an H&F as well!

My lot got off to a bad start, losing Marsden early on, but you never know. An upset is still on!

A strange set of result with all of the top 3 losing in div 3!!
Yep thats right I beat Angy :D

Fighting Mongooses 218-10 (48.2 overs)
Blanco Blitzers 219-5 (46.3 overs)

I think that means you could be top suren!! Means this could be a tight finish to the season in div 3!

And that's the end of the match. The Blind Society won by 247 runs.
The Blind Society 324-4
The kings of cricket 77-10
Mark up another (crushing) win for the Blind. Bit anti-climatic really, after the build up. RMs Wilkerson and Elvins exploited the conditions beautifully to take 7 wickets between them for just 30 runs in just 9.2 overs. One runout, one wicket for RM Floors and then one for RF skipper Carey. Earlier in the day, Gomez and Haishen got centuries and Stearman and Bonner got quick runs in the death to push us well over 300.
