Wow that is awesome Suren, both our bowling are in form for our game.

My opponents top order popped, good thing Barrowdale got the break through as he had the upper hand in the ratings.

Middle Order: mediocre mediocre
Lower Order: worthless woeful

Well, the game has took another suprise turn... My batters horribly failed.. HT is playing like a typical Indian team,

End of Over 18: 43-8, runrate=2.39, reqrunrate=2.56 (124-10)
Badenhorst 4-2-3-2
Love* 4 (8 balls)
Hamed 0 (4 balls)
Last Wicket: Walton lbw b. Badenhorst 0 (FOW: 43/8)

After a great bowling performance, i didn't expect this to happen. :( Tough day!

The team im playing today have pulled quite a sneaky one on me!

He has realised he is not going to gain promotion and like myself has been in this league since we joined Battrick, so he is going for relegation to VI in hope he will then be promoted to an easier V league. So in order to do this he has been fielding weak teams all season and loosing. But today! Just when I was expecting an easy win I see he has put out a full strength side! Good job I did too then ;)
End of Over 17: 86-2, runrate=5.06
Lambert 4-0-15-1
Sohail* 1 (2 balls)
Green 41 (44 balls)

Last Wicket: Folkes lbw b. Lambert 43 (FOW: 85/2)
Just lost Folkes though, but a flat pitch with his batting I need 300+

I played in flat pitch too.. but it doesn't seem to be such one. Match lasted only for 52 Overs overall.

And yes, by the way, i lost by 80 runs while chasing 124. :( His proficient seam attack destroyed my batters like I destroyed his proficient top order.

Ouch that sucks Suren your bowlers did awesome to take apart that batting. But what you do to him he can also do to you :(

That hurts for you Suren. You got him but he got you back harder. Good effort though.

End of Over 4: 38-0, runrate=9.50, reqrunrate=6.11 (318-2)
Mcleod 2-0-18-0
Robinson* 28 (18 balls)
Myall 5 (6 balls)

Robinson off to the usual quick start that he is off to every game.

Ooops, i am batting first again against Syl :(
End of Over 8: 26-0, runrate=3.25
Hitish 4-0-17-0
Rampaul* 7 (23 balls)
Bishop 17 (26 balls)

Going in a typical Indian team style to get rid of first one hour. :upray But I hate to bat first. :mad

End of Over 20: 128-4, runrate=6.40, reqrunrate=7.07 (339-3)
Cameron 5-0-29-0
Roscoe* 67 (52 balls)
Ashdown 28 (42 balls)

Last Wicket: Miller c. Cockerill b. Mckenna 22 (FOW: 60/4)

Had a very bad start as i lost wickets early these two seem to be ticking along though. and a very poor bowling performance due to tired bowlers

Syl, are any of your bowlers on defensive mode?

End of Over 17: 56-1, runrate=3.29
Clayden 2-0-12-0
Paki* 18 (17 balls)
Rampaul 15 (53 balls)
Last Wicket: Bishop lbw b. Sawyer 18 (FOW: 30/1)

Damn.. I like Rampaul to better go to pavilion now. Already, the game is slipping away from my hands. :( Its frustrating to watch Rampaul tbh.

What a match this is turning out to be :)
Only put Clayden on defensive the other guys were normal.

You've got both my key wickets in Chav and Masi very cheaply. Your favourite player is batting now though :p

Syl, your bowlers were outstanding today is what i would say! 208 is never going to be enough to defend. But am happy that, my team is still fighting. Typical Indian cricket team style.. what else to say! ;)

Awesome win Suren, another thriller produced by us. Steele almost spoiled your day once again and Sawyer almost made a name for himself. But losing my big two wickets cheaply was the match.

Wowww... What a match it was! :hpraise:hpraise:hpraise
41.6 W Clarke to Quintus
Good length ball outside off stump, nipping in off the wicket. Quintus moves forward and tries to square drive, but only manages a big inside edge onto the stumps

Quintus was the key wicket as he was very well settled.

44.2 W Hamed to Hamed
What a catch by Rampaul. Barely got his fingers under that. I hope he hasn't scraped his hand against the pitch.
46.4 W Hamed to Hitish
Hitish threw his bat at that one and lofted it straight into Walton's hands. Well held!
46.3 W Hamed to Sawyer
Tries to reverse sweep and only ends up seeing the ball crash into his leg stump!

Then, Hamed, who was smashed for few boundaries(5 boundaries i guess) did the trick for Hunting Tigers, especially that back to back wickets! :)

47.1 W Clarke to Borrowdale
What a rip snorter of a delivery!! The ball swung in and nipped away smashing into off stump. The bewildered Borrowdale heads back to the pavilion.

Finally, Clarke finishing it off with just around 10 runs to get. What a match.. What a match.. I never expected this,

And that's the end of the match. HuntingTigers won by 10 runs.

HuntingTigers 207-10
Baggy Blues 197-10

Hamed 9-3-37-5
Clarke 9-0-35-2

One thing was common Syl... Our bowlers did a fantastic job.. It was no where looking like a dry track favouring the batsmen. Instead, it looked like bowlers day.

Tough luck Syl. And, this is my first win against Baggy Blues atlast! Fantastic match.. and it is one of my unforgettable match. Low scoring thriller! :)

Ya, so far we have played 3 matches.. and all the three were thrillers :D And ya, Steele was playing a crucial role. And good that there was no Liddle :p

Moodley 6-0-24-1
Matjhatjhametse* 9 (20 balls)
Ohara 4 (10 balls)

An outside chance with 2 very attacking batsmen at the crease, and my keeper in the shed, but looks like my enormous undefeated run is coming to an end :(

Hiller 100 (80) proves that he cannot be stopped :)
