The players are off the field for the change of innings.

End of Over 53 (7 runs). BFN Bombers: 405-0, runrate=7.64
Lead by 393 runs. (Abaphehli CC 12-10)

Should all be over in about 20 overs or so....

And that's it for the days play. Join us again tomorrow for more ball by ball coverage.

And that's the end of the match. an innings and 393 runs.

End of Over 16 (Maiden). Abaphehli CC: 0-10, runrate=0.00 (1st Inn: 12-10)
Trail by 393 runs. (BFN Bombers 405-0 dec)

Good bowling effort in the 2nd innings, although I would have liked more comittment :p

2nd draw coming up and hopefully slipping into 2nd spot :p

7.2 W Sam to Karthikeyan
Give me an 'L'! Give me a 'B'! Give me a 'W'! What does that spell? LBW! He's out!

Wicket in Shorey first over.

17.3 W Shorey to Taggart
And that's high in the air, no problems for Ray at all. I'm not sure that celebration will go down well with the batsman though.

End of Over 33 (3 runs). Whaleys Warriors: 81-2, runrate=2.45
Trail by 227 runs. (Baggy Blues 308-9 dec)
Candlish 8-2-18-0
Nkabinde* 40 (105 balls)
Dudfield 16 (47 balls)
Last Wicket: Taggart c. Ray b. Shorey 11 (FOW: 45/2)

Fighting Mongooses vs Moordreams City
Stumps Day 2
Fighting Mongooses 2/602 (93.0)
Glasser 284
Way 283 n.o.

Moordreams City 87 (50.3)
Sheppard 5/22 (15.0)
Cable 2/15 (12.0)
Mametsa 2/23 (10.0)

Fighting Mongooses 2/387 (61.0)
Glasser 116
Way 100 n.o.
Whaley 84
Killeen 70 n.o.

Moordreams City 4/21 (15.0)
Sheppard 3/9 (7.0)

A perfectly timed declaration got Way to 100 and then sent Moordreams in for 15 overs of punishment. It will be an impossible task on day 3, with Fighting Mongooses set to win by more than 800 runs.

Maybe not a foregone conclusion on that draw after all.
Got him all out for 191 and my openers blitzed his tired bowlers with 136 at the close of play. Plan on declaring at 250 and seeing what my B team bowling attack can do.

In order to prolong my game to tomorrow, im bowling my batsman, and to be honest, there doing a darn better job than my oppositions bowlers did!

End of Over 35 (1 runs). Northants Knobblers: 164-3, runrate=4.69 (1st Inn: 45-10)
Trail by 447 runs. (Briggs Bullets 656-0 dec)
Ali 5-0-23-0
Foley* 54 (55 balls)
Mohammed 4 (20 balls)

Last Wicket: Cresswell c. Burdett b. Ainsworth 72 (FOW: 143/3)

Hopefully it will go into tomorrow, every days worth of income is useful!

Great day for me today. I took the last wicket to bowl out my opponents for 373 yesterday, meaning my reply didn't start till this morning. I declared on 457-3, Gilroy 205* and Stiles 131, leaving me 20 overs at them tonight. Play closed with them 70-4, (Stone 3-18) and the weak middle order very exposed. I still lead by 14, and except to wrap up a fairly easy win tomorrow.

What a joke! My batsmen used as bowlers and I still bowl them out for 542 and win by an innings and 69 runs. Ainsworth 4-105 to go with his 318* :)

Lost 2 early wickets in the morning but Muller and Liddle settled in. Had a 350 run lead but my opponent is scoring pretty fast.

End of Over 17 (2 runs, 2lb). Whaleys Warriors: 79-1, runrate=4.65 (1st Inn: 191-10)
Trail by 291 runs. (Baggy Blues 308-9 dec & 253-3 dec)
Candlish 1-0-2-0
Karthikeyan* 44 (62 balls)
Taggart 30 (34 balls)
Last Wicket: Nkabinde lbw b. Sam 1 (FOW: 3/1)

Easy innings and 41 run for me. My new med/med/med buy Sipho took 5 fa in the 2nd innings after my spinner Charlton took 5 fa in the first.

Two wickets has put me in the box seat now.

52.2 W Johan to Dudfield
Great ball, moving away off the seam, a faint nick, and Phillips takes the catch behind the stumps.

53.4 W Sam to Moore
He's gone for the big hit but has been caught on the boundary!

End of Over 54 (Maiden). Whaleys Warriors: 194-6, runrate=3.59 (1st Inn: 191-10)
Trail by 176 runs. (Baggy Blues 308-9 dec & 253-3 dec)
Sam 13-5-41-3
Ford* 1 (16 balls)
Hargreaves 0 (2 balls)
Last Wicket: Moore c. Candlish b. Sam 0 (FOW: 194/6)

Cleaned him up in the end winning by 162 runs. This result certainly wasn't looking likely midway through yesterday.

Bad start to my top of the table clash :(

2.1 W Grahames to Masibulele
Can someone call Masibulele an ambulance! He's going to be a broken man after that. Gone.

Quintus took 120 balls for his 60. Bit too slow for my liking but at least he didn't expose my tail.

Chav stepped up and boy did we need it.
45.1 4 Warne to Chavhanga
Quality timing and placement from Chavhanga. He lofts it into the gap behind mid on and it bounces twice over the outfield before crossing the rope.
And that's a century for Chavhanga! Well played indeed Sir!

End of Over 50: 234-5, runrate=4.68
Warne 10-1-72-1
Chavhanga* 121 (121 balls)
Hamed 0 (0 balls)
Last Wicket: Steele b. Warne 35 (FOW: 234/5)

Need my bowlers to really perform to be a chance of defending this total.

What a coincidence.. I am also playing the no1 opponent of my league. :p And more likely, i am to loose since he has a good strong team. Unless, he take me easy, i have 0.0000099% chance to win :D

Warne 10-1-72-1

lol.. hehe.. You need to get quick wickets syl.

Hehe I love taking apart that Warne :p Done that previously too :p

I was looking at your opponent looks very strong if he puts his best side up but your side has been going well lately so who knows.

Got the best start I could have ever wished for.

0.2 W Borrowdale to Carey
Gone! Borrowdale has bowled Carey with a yorker. To top it off, Carey's broken his bat as he slammed it into the pitch trying to keep that delivery out.

0.5 W Borrowdale to Cort
Cort flat bats a widish length ball into the waiting hands of long off. A good catch as the ball shot sharply off the bat.

1.1 W Hitish to Warne
Warne works that on the on side and ambles though for the run. But Mohammed swoops out from behind the umpire and catches Warne cold with a direct hit!

And here comes the top bowler in the league
3.5 W Hitish to Mcbean
That was a gem of a delivery. Rising from good length, heading on to Mcbean's shoulders at great pace. The batsman was caught in an awkward position trying to evade the ball, but caught the top of the bat through to the keeper.

End of Over 4: 7-4, runrate=1.75, reqrunrate=4.96 (234-5)
Hitish 2-1-1-1
Omeara* 0 (1 balls)
Sonto 2 (4 balls)
Last Wicket: Mcbean c. Masibulele b. Hitish 0 (FOW: 6/4)

Holly crap another one.

4.2 W Borrowdale to Omeara
A perfect yorker from Borrowdale sends Omeara's middle stump cartwheeling across the ground.

Baggyy Blues get smashed!! Still not ready for big league (31/08/2007)
The Baggy Blues played their play-off game today, and were smashed like a dead fish on a Japanese menu! After only 15 overs, the best Baggy Blues could manage was 38-10.

Looks like the big fish will be staying in their little pond for another season. Who knows, maybe next time they can put a better show on and actually reach 40 runs :)

It seems to be a good reply by you then in today's match. ;)
