End of Over 11: 50-1, runrate=4.55
Kerr 1-0-4-0
Haishen* 18 (33 balls)
Gomez 18 (22 balls)

Last Wicket: Mavuso c. Lefu b. Jephcott 6 (FOW: 17/1)
Tough game against AP XI in the Shield. Sunny weather and Green pitch. I will ned 260 ideally. Should get there if these two bat on till about 25/30 overs and leat Stearman take control after. Then it will be up to my bowlers. Playing 3 RMs, hoping the third one will fair well.

Nice win pal, your spin attack ripped me to shreds and I can't deny it. I'd like to see the back of Pinnock though, he's sorta cost me two matches, one which
I could have won for sure (Wulfs) and if he kept it tight and kept the match going for Samuel to bowl again, I might have made it a slightly softer loss.

I'm pretty sure the pitch had more to do with the outcome than anything else. Looking at the ratings, we have somewhat similar teams, except that our pace and spin ratings are switched. If we'd played on a pitch suiting pace, the outcome would have been different. Anyways, we're going to find out next week since I think I'm playing you at your field in the Championship.

End of Over 2: 16-0, runrate=8.00, reqrunrate=4.29 (221-5)
Floors 1-0-5-0
Clare* 8 (8 balls)
Hargreaves 8 (4 balls)

Not the best total to defend, and not a great start. Need a few wickets early on to apply the pressure.

How did Eli do Pal? He'll be skippering the WI in the U-19 WC, and it is important he's in good form!

4.6 W Carey to Clare
Clare nicked the one that pitched perfectly in the corridor, caught by Brookes.

Skipper does the trick.

End of Over 7: 30-1, runrate=4.29, reqrunrate=4.47 (221-5)
Carey 4-1-19-1
Hargreaves* 12 (16 balls)
Jackson 1 (7 balls)

Last Wicket: Clare c. Brookes b. Carey 17 (FOW: 28/1)

Looking better. A quick scan of his batting reveals no real major threat, and if the bowlers bowl well without a particular wink link, I think we can defend this. Wilkerson will be crucial, he could bleed a lot of runs or be in the inspired bowling choice, while Justin Elvins is my key bowler. If I drag the match to that last 10 with more than 60 runs to defend, I think Elvins could be key then.

10-3-38-2. It was my other spinner, Kirkland, who did most of the damage taking 5 wickets. Eli's in superb bowling form and I rarely, if ever, play him other than the friendlies.

A top of the table clash today and im in for a thumping! Hes resting his over 20k battrick raters but still playing 2 :(

End of Over 9 (3 runs, 1lb). The Top Class Kids: 27-1, runrate=3.00
Hardy 5-1-10-1
Buchan* 21 (34 balls)
Wotton 5 (12 balls)

Wotton playing for the first time in a while and Nicholls is already out and will be moved down to 4 even though he is the perfect opener for me skills wise. He has really struggled up top all year
__________________________________________

The defensive tactics in going for the draw seem to be working really well, Wotton is playing solid in his 2nd FC game against a very good side

End of Over 35 (Maiden). The Top Class Kids: 90-1, runrate=2.57
Quailey 4-1-7-0
Buchan* 48 (119 balls)
Wotton 39 (84 balls)

Last Wicket: Nicholls b. Hardy 0 (FOW: 11/1)

Only highlight today is

67.6 4 Daniels to Liddle
He goes at that hard, and an edge sees it fly over the slip cordon.
And that's his fifty! Well played.

Two Sam, making it confusing.

End of Over 85 (4 runs). Baggy Blues: 243-6, runrate=2.86
Sam 12-1-44-1
Sam* 0 (5 balls)
Phillips 15 (15 balls)
Last Wicket: Shorey b. Sam 41 (FOW: 236/6)

End of Over 92 (Maiden). The Top Class Kids: 284-5, runrate=3.09
Naidoo 20-10-29-3
Hamilton* 7 (18 balls)
Buchan 103 (271 balls)

Pretty happy today against a very good team, dissapointed Wotton didnt make 100 but his 70 was a good knock. Buchan continues to rise to the occasion when it matters two brilliant centurys this season when they were needed

Very nice, you're going well against the top guy.

Just lost my keeper batter.

89.3 W Elvins to Phillips
Awful shot and Phillips pays the price. The ball wasn't short enough to pull, but Phillips tried to, and instead dragged a huge bottom edge back into his stumps.

End of Over 96 (Maiden). Baggy Blues: 271-7, runrate=2.82
Elvins 20-9-34-4
Candlish* 2 (12 balls)
Sam 16 (47 balls)
Last Wicket: Phillips b. Elvins 25 (FOW: 256/7)

Looks like I won't even make my 350 declaration tonight.

End of Over 110 (2 runs). The Top Class Kids: 356-6, runrate=3.24
Hardy 24-6-62-2
Carrington* 12 (18 balls)
Hamilton 51 (78 balls)

Last Wicket: Buchan b. Quailey 113 (FOW: 325/6)

Hamilton (a Squad filler) has done brilliantly to score a 50 especially as he did it so quickly, hopefully I can get past 400 tomorrow and head for the draw

Fighting Mongooses vs Moordreams City

A fair day's cricket ahead.

End of Over 7 (1 runs). sivam: 2-4, runrate=0.29 (1st Inn: 18-10, 16 Overs)

Hitish* 1 (14 balls)
Hitish 0 (8 balls)

Last Wicket: Hamed lbw b. Mulligan 0 (FOW: 1/4)

Totally, have played only about 52 overs today but third innings in progress. :p

Code:
The players are off the field for tea.

End of Over 8 (Maiden). Sri Krishna Team: 13-3, runrate=1.63
Trail by 181 runs. (Bangalore Bechappas 194-10)
Ghandi*	0 (1 balls)
Robson	3 (24 balls)

I am facing a very strong team which is in the II league! After a wonderful bowling performance by Searle - 20-12-16-7, its time for the batsman to perform! :)

@Suren : This game should be over very soon. :)

Why did you not go for batting points? You declared at 207:eek:

my match has been finished in 61 0vers overall. They were all out for another 18 runs. So nice two and half days rest for my players. :D

Tough start there Viral but bowling was great! Might be a low scoring thriller ;)

Hehe... No patience to carry on the match to second day and waste the PFL. Also, a comfortable lead of 13 points in the league table too. So never mind those batting points. :)
