The matches has started. Spinners United have won the toss and elected to bowl.
15 over update:
End of Over 15: 113-0, runrate=7.53
Mackin 1-0-9-0
Holme* 72 (52 balls)
Hoult 38 (40 balls)
On track for a 300+ total.

You're doing a whole lot better than me -

End of Over 20: 60-3, runrate=3.00
Mathis 5-0-17-0
Leary* 12 (41 balls)
Khurshid 14 (20 balls)

Last Wicket: Sheikh c. Cole b. Pead 10 (FOW: 28/3)
I haven't lost a wicket for a while so hopefully they should begin to attack

Edit - Classic bit of commentry next ball -

20.1 . Laird to Leary
Leary steps out, and.... CRACK!!! Oooooohhh, oh dear, we'll need a medic. Leary looked to smash it over the top. Laird ducked, but the umpire never had a chance. That doesn't look pretty.

25 over update. Openers doing great :)

End of Over 25: 175-0, runrate=7.00
Mackin 6-0-40-0
Holme* 107 (89 balls)
Hoult 64 (63 balls)

End of Over 34: 220-1, runrate=6.47
Sekani 7-0-45-0
Hoult* 84 (95 balls)
Mears 20 (21 balls)

End of First Innings:338-2, runrate=6.76

Udabadalawa* 15 (12 balls) - Great Name!
Mears 75 (66 balls)
Holme 107 (93 balls)
Hoult 127 (136 balls)

OMG!! I have set my opener who has worthless wk and feeble fielding to be my wicket keeper!! I forgot to change the keeper. Damn.

EDIT: Turned back on to battrick and found that Holme has taken two stumpings in the first 3 overs of my medium pacer !! ROFL. Oh, the irony.

Here is how mine is progressing:

End of Over 25: 68-2, runrate=2.72, reqrunrate=1.92 (115-10)
Elliott 6-1-18-0
Atkinson* 24 (72 balls)
Fallon 19 (41 balls)

Last Wicket: Tuckett c. Hardy b. Thorpe 12 (FOW: 27/2)

Rudi took 3/11, Tuckett 4/10.
My reversed batting order is working well. Tuckett is a worthless batsman, and he actually hit a six in that knock! Its going slow, but I'm not too fussed. Rudi will be the next one in.

i got my match tomorrow against the falcons and its gonna be tough

Don't Worry I'll be trying something new. No Shakeel Masood. :p I am buying a 39000 BTR player so Ill be testing him tommorow :D Get READY!

Brilliant over from Marples! I finally got a maiden against the falcons! 220/0 though

End of Over 34: 220-0, runrate=6.47
Marples 7-1-43-0
Shahbaz* 100 (86 balls)
Powell 102 (123 balls)
33.6 . Marples to Powell
Good length, sharply rising delivery outside off stump. He leaves it well alone and through to Milner. Good carry.
33.5 . Marples to Powell
Steered to the region of gully. Perry fielding.
33.4 . Marples to Powell
No run. The umpire is looking to see if Marples is running on the wicket.
33.3 . Marples to Powell
On the front foot, gently stroked out to the on, Rowland fielding.
33.2 . Marples to Powell
Wide of off, stroked out to point.
33.1 . Marples to Powell
What was Powell thinking! Deliveries like that are begging to be hit down the ground. Better pay more attention next ball.

EDIT: YES! WICKET! Ah, the glory. It was my "feeble" spinner as well. Well, I suppose so many chances went the falcons way, something was bound to happen. Now we need to bowl them out in the next coouple of overs :)

34.3 W Cronin to Powell
Got Him!!! GOT HIM!!! I don't think he knew what that ball was doing

Yes, another wicket! Its amazing how many chances have gone down, two balls later a prime example:

42.3 1 Oakley to Shahbaz
It's in the air... and out. Noooo, Rowland dropped it but he does well to recover and restricts them to a single.

Oh well, it won't really make much of a difference now

My opponent was:
End of Over 19: 85-7, runrate=4.47
Leighton 4-0-17-1
Hislop* 7 (18 balls)
Boardley 43 (48 balls)

Now:
End of Over 44: 162-9, runrate=3.68
Angell 10-1-21-0
Hamed* 6 (10 balls)
Taylor 13 (46 balls)
:mad
I hate lower order revivals
Edit: My opponent, The County, has a lower order batsman who also bowls for him called Ashley Giles!
