Moodley waits until the end of his spell to take aim; a Parthian shot, if you will.
12.1 W Moodley to Padayachie
Padayachie hit in front... huge shout... umpire's taking his time... and he's given him. A bit of theatre by the umpire, that looked plumb to me.
Cable doesn't let things settle down
17.3 W Cable to Bignot
Brilliant fielding by Hamed. He backpedalled a long way and has caught him.
End of Over 20: 61-5, runrate=3.05

Albion CC fought back through Makooi and Dewar, whose partnership scored 71.
End of Over 40: 121-5, runrate=3.03
However, Cable defeated Makooi on 49
40.3 W Cable to Makooi
OUT! Makooi goes for the sweep, misses, and, yes, he’s given him! Great bowling!
From there, the wickets tumbled against the spinners.

Albion CC 145 all out in 46.5 overs.

End of Over 10: 45-0, runrate=4.50, reqrunrate=2.53 (145-10)

Richardson and Mpilo fail to make a vital breakthrough. The spinner might not have been the best strategy early on, while old Richardson looks tired.

18.1 2 Dewar to Dodge
Played around to deep backward square, deep mid wicket running wide to field the ball.
And that's his fifty! Well played.
Dodge's 50 was scored in 48 balls.
18.5 4 Dewar to Browne
Browne executes the paddle sweep perfectly and picks up four behind square.
And that's his fifty! Well played.
Browne's 50 took 62 balls.

End of Over 20: 116-0, runrate=5.80, reqrunrate=1.00 (145-10)

Albion CC 145 (46.5)
Makooi 49
Cable 4/24 (7.5)
Wharrad 3/32 (10.0)

Fighting Mongooses 0/146 (26.4)
Dodge 77 n.o.
Browne 64 n.o.

I'm batting on green pitch. Suren will most likely pummel me. :(

Tough luck Jazy! Your openers did a great job but after that opening break-through, things started to turn other way. Your bowlers did have a magnificent start in picking 4 wickets for just 40 runs.. then came a crucial partnership(Malik-Field). They rescued in the end.

Very great game overall :)

Great game Suren, reps for the win. :)

Classic collapse from me though as we were 174/2 and ended up getting 227. Wylie scored 117 and was the only player to stand out. Bowling department we had them for 40/5 but a massive partnership ended my hopes of winning. Sotho bowled brilliantly but without support and ended with figures of 3/19.

Very good game as you said. :cheers

End of Over 31: 127-1, runrate=4.10
Muller 9-0-34-0
Gayle* 65 (117 balls)
Bennett 54 (58 balls)
Last Wicket: Mattheus lbw b. Davison 3 (FOW: 16/1)

Penguins vs Michele

Me bowling on dusty at the moment, looks okay...

44.2 1 Roe to Bennett
Driven to long on. Poor running and a mix up keeps it to one.
And that's a century for Bennett! Well played indeed Sir!

I just hope I can blow up this guy...

I Hate Bennett!!!!

49.1 W Carmino to Bennett
That's the right line! The ball clips the top of the off stump as Bennett misjudged where his castle stood, and the bowling side's coaching staff give themselves a pat on the back for that dismissal.

First time in three matches that I get him...

128 off 111 balls... Need to contact my mercenary to get him...

:crying

2 evenly matched teams played today... Bushwackers vs Devilish Angels

Devilish angels were put in to bat first and made 272/9 thanks to efforts from many players...Folkes 55, Karthikeyan 47, Ahmed 62, Bhutia 42, and Hocking 30.

Wickets were taken by Heath 10-0-51-3 and Whelan 10-0-47-2 and a very expensive Heggett 10-0-75-3

Comming out to chase, Bushwakers lost thier first wicket in the 2nd over to Alshaun. They kept losing wickets at regualar intervals but in the end fell 17 runs short, scoring 255/6. Top scorer Swift 92, Chukwu 47*, and Whelan 38.

Good game in the end and here is what the post game ratings showed

Reporter's Summary
Bushwackers DeViLiSh AnGeLs
Top Order: proficient proficient
Middle Order: respectable proficient
Lower Order: mediocre woeful
Seam Bowling: strong remarkable
Spin Bowling: useless strong
Fielding: mediocre feeble

The all important MOTM award goes to Ahmed for his good disciplined bowling and 62 off 48.

8.3 W Cummings to Worthington
The batsmen clearly underestimated Armstrong's agility there as he knocked down the bails with a fantastic pickup and throw.

And so we lose

12.3 W Cummings to Badenhorst
The finger is slowly raised and the batsman knows he was caught in front.

And there goes my second best bat... The remaining are inconsistent and cannot be relied upon...

Corcoran 6-0-27-0
Sardine* 10 (5 balls)
Hedley 57 (76 balls)
Last Wicket: Yorke c. Gayle b. Cummings 72 (FOW: 183/3)

Need 62 off 54 to win this one, got a Prof/comp coming in next...

And Hooper lost!!!

And that's the end of the match. Sneaky Penguins won by 6 wickets.
St Michele CC 269-4
Sneaky Penguins 272-4

Played till the 49.1st ball...

Hedley 89 (98 balls)

He is becoming a phenomenon again...
