LOL after sending out loads of challenges I finally, out of the blue, got challenged by a guy with a 20K capacity which is what I was looking for, so it's all good :thumbs

GFI again?

Fincher went crazy
12.1 6 Duff to Fincher
Wow! One wonders what the ball did to offend Fincher, he smacked that with aggression and it ripped through the air for six.
And that's his fifty! Well played.

Problem is he got out soon after or else it could have been a real big 100.

My great two are at the crease won't be cracking 400 though.

End of Over 39: 269-1, runrate=6.90
Duff 10-0-72-1
Masibulele* 123 (114 balls)

My best start ever, had them at 0/3!!!! Got a 6k wage guy out for golden duck. :D

2.2 W Sotho to Sandile
Gone! That one has sent the middle stump tumbling. Sotho gives him a none too subtle send off, pointing him in the direction of the pavilion!

1/4!! :laugh

Last Wicket: Remaketse c. Meyer b. Backley 0 (FOW: 60/5)

I honestly have no idea whats going to happen when, another two quick wickets and I'm into that tail, but if they keep going for a while longer that match may just be out of reach for me.

End of Over 39: 99-5, runrate=2.54, reqrunrate=2.27 (123-10)

Singh 6-0-24-3
Longmead* 1 (2 balls)
Van heerden 0 (0 balls)
Last Wicket: Holsgrove c. Glody b. Singh 0 (FOW: 104/9)

Singh on song taking 3 wickets in that over, with 1 from Bird the over before. I'm inclined to say I've won, but I don't want to get happy too early!

I won, bowled them out for 25 even though they had one guy with 22k wages and one guy with 6k wages. Then went and did it in 4.1 overs if I remember correctly.

Nice work Griffo!

Lunchtime at the game between Hampton Central CC and Fighting Mongooses. It's a sunny day down south and Fighting Mongooses did not hesitate to bat, even though the pitch looked like it might suit the bowlers. FM have no fitness concerns and turned out in full force, which certainly registered on the scoreboard. Although early wickets fell, Barton combined with Sephake to form a 191 run unbeaten partnership, belying the lack of pace in this pitch. The medium pacers were restrictive, but in retrospect they surely would have given away a few more for a wicket.

Fighting Mongooses 2/296 (50.0)
Barton 156 n.o.
Sephake 94 n.o.
Khotso 1/48

Nice work Griffo!

Well my game with RecordBreakers have started off,

We can tell you that Record Breakers won the toss and elected to bat. The pitch is looking a cracker! Hard and fast - should be a run-fest out there on this partially cloudy and humid day.

Expected this on a batting wicket. And so far, the things have gone very silently,

End of Over 12: 38-0, runrate=3.17
Love 6-1-13-0
Sifiso* 15 (36 balls)
Salahuddin 20 (36 balls)

Not a good sign for my bowlers.. need a crucial breakthrough.
