And so the biggest match of my season begins...

End of Over 4: 14-0, runrate=3.50
McDermott 2-0-9-0
Bexfield* 8 (15 balls)
Cheema 6 (9 balls)

If McDermott goes for less than 50 or 60 I will be extremly happy

End of Over 21: 109-3, runrate=5.19, reqrunrate=5.83 (277-3)
Sagren 1-0-4-0
Wotton* 38 (41 balls)
Mbeki 15 (18 balls)

Last Wicket: Nicholls Run Out 1 (FOW: 84/3)

I still have a chance but Mbeki needs to stay in whilst Wotton blasts away, for a bowling side i didnt constrict them enough and/or take wickets... i need a pitch change i think

Ah good old Novus throwing his game :p
He usually bowls his 2nd best bowler at 2 and him and Williams go through. But this time he changed it around a bit. Also want PAN which I did in our first encounter.

Batting first my duo that took me to round 6 of the Cup again came to the party.
Baggy Blues smacking Novus for his biggest total this seasonat 2/298 (Sawyer 129 [154], Chavhanga 140 [132])

In reply Sawyer did the damage early with 3-17. Was expecting a lot more from Ahmed but he didn't back up Sawyer damage. Ended up bowling them all out for 10/187 (Sawyer 5-30, Barrowdale 3-23)

I defeated 3rd place today. :)
I think he thought I was still crap. :p

Strathmore ao/170 (39.5ov)
Seddon 4/46 (9.5)
McMahon 3/29 (10)
Vosloo 1/13 (5)
Tahir 1/21 (7)
Bignot 1/41 (8)

Aussie Bombers 3/171 (39.3ov)
Croft 67
Noon 47
Sturgess 27*

Aussie Bombers win by 7 wickets.

Sawyer grabbed his usual 3 early wickets leaving Wales CC 29-4 after 10 overs. Clayden replacement then struck with a 3 fer of his own. Mampe backed up with a 2 fer and Barrowdale wasn't required.

Wales CC all out for 53

End of Over 3: 17-1, runrate=5.67
Breedt 2-0-10-1
Wotton* 14 (8 balls)
Nayar 3 (8 balls)

Last Wicket: Buchan c. Cockerill b. Breedt 0 (FOW: 0/1)

My first game against LF/Broady in my BT history, Buchan opened so I could work out my middle order for once i buy a new batsmen

13.2 W Potter to Stiles
Went for the big heave-ho, but completely missed it! He hangs his head as he makes the long walk back to the pavilion.
13.1 1 Potter to Cunningham
They really should have that extra slip. Edged to third man for a single.

End of Over 13: 42-3, runrate=3.23
Raven 7-0-24-3
Cunningham* 18 (27 balls)
Stiles 6 (19 balls)

Ludlam in now at 43-4. get him and it should be a convincing victory.

End of Over 25: 138-1, runrate=5.52
Hockley 3-0-14-0
Wotton* 72 (68 balls)
Nayar 65 (80 balls)

Last Wicket: Buchan c. Cockerill b. Breedt 0 (FOW: 0/1)

Losing Nayar wouldnt be a bad thing at the moment lol... but still who cares GO MY TRAINEE!

End of Over 38: 207-1, runrate=5.45
Cameron 9-0-36-0
Nayar* 100 (120 balls)
Wotton 105 (107 balls)

Last Wicket: Buchan c. Cockerill b. Breedt 0 (FOW: 0/1)

Good work boys now pick it up in the last 10 and put over 300 on the board, due to me experimenting i have a stronger middle order than usual so im happy with the current situation

End of Over 50: 307-2, runrate=6.14
Hockley 10-0-60-0
Nicholls* 33 (27 balls)
Wotton 169 (147 balls)

Last Wicket: Nayar c. Cockerill b. Breedt 103 (FOW: 223/2)

Wotton has a new top score and that friendly average keeps getting higher and higher over 100

2 bowlers on poor PF meant they got 50 more than I would have wanted.

End of Over 8: 32-0, runrate=4.00, reqrunrate=4.62 (225-7)
Otto 4-0-20-0
Pollock* 12 (25 balls)
Harbin 19 (23 balls)

Should be able to chase the target though.

End of Over 11: 58-2, runrate=5.27, reqrunrate=6.41 (307-2)
Elsegood 1-0-7-0
Hall* 17 (17 balls)
Mapes 10 (7 balls)

Last Wicket: Thay lbw b. Lisbie 29 (FOW: 44/2)

Lisbie bowled terrific in his opening spell but I need to get Hall out to make me feel safe, it will be interesting to see how Mbeki does on such terrible PFL (Invig)

End of Over 31: 155-1, runrate=5.00, reqrunrate=3.74 (225-7)
Stone 9-0-37-0
Pollock* 69 (90 balls)
Mampe 45 (62 balls)

not a bad start.

0.1 W Allen to Folkes
Driven to Luxford at short cover, brilliant catch low to his left. Excellent field placement there.

End of Over 3: 6-3, runrate=2.00
Allen 2-2-0-3
Ahmed* 3 (3 balls)
Mckenzie 0 (0 balls)
Last Wicket: Rampaul b. Allen 0 (FOW: 6/3)

got 3 of these bad boys now.

lowellmason added 3 Minutes and 48 Seconds later...

4.6 W Allen to Mckenzie
Bowled! A touch short but Mckenzie, trying to work it to the on side, only gets an inside edge on it, sending the ball into his stumps.

CCOMMMMEEEEE OOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN

End of Over 35: 175-3, runrate=5.00, reqrunrate=8.87 (307-2)
Elsegood 8-0-43-0
Hall* 88 (86 balls)
Dangasela 6 (15 balls)

Last Wicket: Mapes b. McDermott 45 (FOW: 154/3)

McDermott bowled his first ever maiden in One Day cricket lol and it had a wicket in it :) Not too sure what a good req run rate is on a terrific batting strip but we will see how we end up
