90.5 W Slabbert to Mcdonald
Awesome yorker right on target, Mcdonald too late on the defensive shot, misses it, ball smashes the off stump out of the ground.

End of Over 92 (3 runs). Shore Athletic: 547-4, runrate=5.95
Lead by 546 runs. (Bennys Barmy Army 1-10)
Stott 23-0-139-1
Pilkington* 190 (176 balls)
Hodge 0 (5 balls)
Last Wicket: Mcdonald b. Slabbert 271 (FOW: 544/4)

Just before the end of the day as well unfortunately. 547/4 and I lead by 564 runs. :D Still can't believe their score.

End of Over 10 (1 runs). WestSide VendeTTa: 19-2, runrate=1.90
Trail by 385 runs. (Everton 404-4 dec)
Raven 5-1-13-2
Bullard* 2 (9 balls)
Small 0 (5 balls)

Bagged the 40k cheaply.

Should bowl them out easily. Even if Bullard goes unbeaten I can't see them hitting much passed 100. Pretty much have to enforce follow on. Maybe end it in two days depsite being at home) for PF saving.

Bowlers are killing it :)

End of Over 36 (5 runs). Team Death: 51-8, runrate=1.42
Trail by 447 runs. (Baggy Blues 498-5 dec)
Chambers 5-2-7-2
Fahy* 2 (12 balls)
Mulryne 4 (10 balls)

Last Wicket: Moloto c. Masibulele b. Sawyer 19 (FOW: 45/8)

Hopefully my openers don't get out, prefer not to see Chav bat for a long period of time.

End of Over 47 (11 runs). Australia369: 153-1, runrate=3.26
Trail by 542 runs. (Temora Bolt 695-10)
York 15-3-45-0
Cook* 41 (47 balls)
Mallon 55 (141 balls)
Last Wicket: Brandt c. Craddock b. Nhleko 37 (FOW: 90/1)

not a bad start by my team

That means I top my ladder and record a good win. This is the second time I have played Shev, I think, and is the second time to beat him although I lost two late wickets. He batted well, being 159/1 at one stage but collapsed thanks to my bowlers finally producing but a good win in the end. :)

Yeah that's the problem heading in with an inexperienced team, gone are the days of almost beating The Raiders and that massive victory over The Southern Sharks but all in all there are some good pointers I can take out of the last few games, being 52/5 in the first game my lower order yet again showed backbone which I've never had from the start...although it will go down as a loss to the team it's okay.

The VJK have always retained a strong top order so the bulk of the runs should come from there, but it's the third time that Jakobus's failed to get amongst the runs, I'm impressed with Lunt making a few runs but now that I'm moving Janes to third and still keeping my faith within Clarkson at 4 it's gonna be a bit of a gamble

The players are off the field for the change of innings.

End of Over 65 (Maiden). ERUDITES: 222-10, runrate=3.42
Trail by 730 runs. (Raiders Eleven 952-10)
Dawber 2-0-5-2
Mohanraj* 0 (11 balls)

Time to get them all once again :D this time i hope we get them under 50 ;)

Pure ownage by Woods. Backed up his 5-16 with 8-10, champion :)

And not a bot for those wondering

Baggy Blues Team Death
Top Order: proficient mediocre
Middle Order: respectable feeble
Lower Order: worthless woeful
Seam Bowling: strong feeble
Spin Bowling: miraculous mediocre
Fielding: woeful woeful

And that's the end of the match. Funknath won by 172 runs.

End of Over 55 (Maiden). Kandla CC: 243-10, runrate=4.42 (1st Inn: 301-10)
Trail by 172 runs. (Funknath 409-4 dec & 307-9 dec)
Ashok 9-1-54-3
Rajini* 0 (10 balls)
Last Wicket: Oliver lbw b. Ashok 4 (FOW: 243/10)

Playing the top team who should really be in Div IV. (Tankage to the max)

End of Over 7: 32-0, runrate=4.57
Convery 4-0-19-0
Norton* 14 (19 balls)
Zakaria 17 (23 balls)

But knowing my team, I'll probably crumble to be about 150 all out.

Woods continues his good form with 2-11.

End of Over 14: 60-3, runrate=4.29
Sawyer 2-0-7-1
Du toit* 33 (42 balls)
Shane 8 (6 balls)
Last Wicket: Nicholls lbw b. Sawyer 5 (FOW: 45/3)

14.1 W Cox to Zakaria
The batsman goes for the reverse sweep and, my word, has he made a hash of it. The ball goes straight up in the air off a top edge and is snaffled up at silly mid on.

I was going well until I lost this wicket.

End of Over 15: 86-1, runrate=5.73
Cox 1-0-2-1
Norton* 47 (48 balls)
Croft 1 (3 balls)
Last Wicket: Zakaria c. Staton b. Cox 37 (FOW: 84/1)

and another wicket...

15.3 W Riches to Norton
Norton is beaten by the swing and gifts a thin edge to Werner.

I'll be all out soon...

Struggling to bowl out resp- batters again :noway

End of Over 19: 73-3, runrate=3.84
Fernandes 5-0-23-0
Shane* 15 (19 balls)
Du toit 38 (60 balls)
Last Wicket: Nicholls lbw b. Sawyer 5 (FOW: 45/3)

End of Over 48: 263-5, runrate=5.48
Convery 9-0-67-0
Mccormick* 92 (89 balls)
Cuss 37 (51 balls)
Last Wicket: Croft c. Speight b. Cox 28 (FOW: 141/5)

Mccormick has gone nuts! 69 runs in the past 6 overs!

What a turn around. Even if I don't win, I'm still happy with how I played.

49.2 1 Convery to Mccormick
They think about a single... yes, no, yes, no, yes (eventually).
And that's a century for Mccormick! Well played indeed Sir!

Century for Mccormick! Finally my great all rounder does something special. And against the top team as well! :D

End of Over 50: 284-5, runrate=5.68
Convery 10-0-79-0
Cuss* 45 (56 balls)
Mccormick 105 (96 balls)
Last Wicket: Croft c. Speight b. Cox 28 (FOW: 141/5)

Very happy with this total. The only way I can win this is if I take an early couple of wickets, but then I have to get Werner who has a mammoth 27k wage.

Gilly Fan added 21 Minutes and 7 Seconds later...

2 down already!

End of Over 2: 10-2, runrate=5.00, reqrunrate=5.73 (284-5)
Hougaard 1-0-5-1
Werner* 1 (2 balls)
Speight 2 (3 balls)
Last Wicket: Staton c. Zakaria b. Hougaard 5 (FOW: 8/2)

What a start. Just need to get Werner. Odds of that are probably 1000/1.
