Well my match with TaxXI started,

We can tell you that TaxXI won the toss and elected to field. The pitch is looking a touch on the green side. All the seam bowlers have been out there rubbing their hands on this partially cloudy day.

I hate to bat first

End of Over 9: 53-0, runrate=5.89
Moloto 5-0-22-0
Bishop* 21 (27 balls)
Singh 28 (28 balls)

Com'on guys.. Lets put some decent target.:upray

surendar added 27 Minutes and 12 Seconds later...

After such a good start, I didn't expect this

End of Over 16: 91-3, runrate=5.69
Evan 3-0-17-1
Alshaun* 13 (11 balls)
Heads 5 (6 balls)
Last Wicket: Robinson lbw b. East 0 (FOW: 83/3)

Three quick wickets... What's happening! Com'on boys!:upray

Great start to my promotion, I beat the team that came down from the division above easily!!!

And that's the end of the match. The Southern Sharks won by 5 wickets.
Bushwackers 237-5
The Southern Sharks 238-5

Nayar and Wotton both scored around 90 odd to ensure victory... Nayar seems to have found a spot in the team

End of Over 43: 199-0, runrate=4.63
Mccoist 7-0-35-0
Dangasela* 78 (111 balls)
Bhutia 118 (147 balls)

What a boring match  tiday not a single bowler has clicked so sar and will not  today my batting will be really tested :upray

End of Over 22: 130-1, runrate=5.91, reqrunrate=4.29 (249-0)
Irving 1-0-5-0
Flower* 60 (58 balls)
Bignot 39 (58 balls)

Last Wicket: Dawber c. Hindle b. Fordham 28 (FOW: 55/1)

We are going nicely :)

Things are going fine for HT till now.:)

End of Over 25: 125-5, runrate=5.00, reqrunrate=7.76 (318-4)
Walton 6-0-35-0
Jordan* 64 (59 balls)
Braithwaite 8 (8 balls)
Last Wicket: Hedley c. Bishop b. Gayle 17 (FOW: 95/5)

Lets see :onpc

I prepared for a tough match against Old Wulfs, but they fielded a reserve team and I have them 17-4. Easy win with Harris doing the damage with the ball again.

End of Over 3: 15-2, runrate=5.00, reqrunrate=4.89 (244-10)
Hadland 2-0-3-2
Wylie* 13 (9 balls)
Hendrie 0 (1 balls)
Last Wicket: Mcdonald b. Hadland 2 (FOW: 15/2)

Nkoe bowled brilliantly on the H&F pitch but Hadland is destroying me as expected. Wylie and Pilkington(when comes in) will need to stay in as long as possible.

Jaztheman added 50 Minutes and 1 Seconds later...

End of Over 16: 87-2, runrate=5.44, reqrunrate=4.65 (244-10)
Dixon 3-0-22-0
Hendrie* 31 (43 balls)
Wylie 54 (45 balls)
Last Wicket: Mcdonald b. Hadland 2 (FOW: 15/2)

72 runs off the last 13 overs and Hadland has now only got 3 overs left. This could be a close. :)

Aamirs Rockers: 195 All Out off 45.5 overs.
Muireston: 196/3 off 38.5 overs.

Tailor hit an unbeaten 97 with Welch unbeaten on 46. Decided to play my full 1XI to get revenge for last time ;)

Despite being 15/2, my team battled their way to a 7 wicket win, ending up on 245/3. Hodgson didn't give us the best start with a golden duck and number 3, McDonald, only made 2 runs off 7 balls. We needed a big partnership and we got it. 205 run partnership soon came about with Wylie and Hendrie scoring freely and as fast as they wanted to. Hendrie's innings came to an end, 25 runs from our target score, falling just short of his century as he made a valiant 83 off 124 balls. Pilkington then came in to finish the innings with Wylie as we get our first victory over Mental Blank, following our loss to them late last season. Wylie was the man of the match and a title he deserved after making a massive 145* off 128 balls. A great batting effort from him indeed.

The bowling saw some mixed performances. Tim Mohato only had 8 overs and the spinner was very uneffective and could only manage 0-44. Not inspiring figures. Coutts and Burger were both average, with 1-48 and 1-49 respectively, which meant we had to rely on Sotho, which seems to always occur, and Nkoe. Sotho didn't disappoint and was the most economical of the bowlers, getting two wickets in the proccess. 2-32 off 8.2 overs is very good for the seamer. The best bowler, by far, was Bruce Nkoe. The 18 year old all rounder picked up a brilliant 5fer which included some very impressive wickets. 5/63 was his final figures and despite being expensive, he made up for it. He got the wickets when we needed them and was the head of our bowling attack.

A great start to the division for my team, beating the team that has come down from the division above. 8k isn't bad moneywise either, I guess.

Another good performance by the bowlers rolling wiki for 149 in the 40th over. Sawyer taking 5-19 and Fernades 3-46.

Batting, Germon failed early but the old pair of Chav and Masi built a partnership that secured the win with Sawyer firing with a run a ball 20.

End of Over 28 (4 runs). League Lovers XI: 54-4, runrate=1.93
Phillips 5-0-13-0
Rizzo* 23 (64 balls)
Cutler 10 (64 balls)

Last Wicket: Horton b. Attwood 14 (FOW: 22/4)

I have hit a bit of a stone in the road, Harvey will be on soon which should see some bails hitting the pitch

End of Over 10 (7 runs). The Southern Sharks: 45-0, runrate=4.50
Trail by 54 runs. (League Lovers XI 99-10)
Bourne 5-0-23-0
Marshall* 26 (38 balls)
Fontaine 18 (22 balls)

Would love to see Justin Fontaine hit 100, his position at the club is up in air and it would prove to me he can handle these matches

Interesting my spinners took 6 wickets between them on a green pitch.

Batting hasn't been as good

End of Over 8 (1 runs, 1lb). HDCC: 19-0, runrate=2.38
Trail by 313 runs. (HuntingTigers 332-10)
Macdonald 4-0-10-0
Ali* 5 (16 balls)
Singh lali 10 (34 balls)

Bowlers need to strike at regular intervals :upray

surendar added 46 Minutes and 10 Seconds later...

Well, I have a feeling that there might be a draw as well in this match,

End of Over 20 (Maiden). HDCC: 41-0, runrate=2.05
Trail by 291 runs. (HuntingTigers 332-10)
Hamed 1-1-0-0
Singh lali* 22 (68 balls)
Ali 13 (55 balls)

They are going strong.. With two spinners bowling, lets see.. if there is any breakthrough or not!:boxing

I seriously wonder, why the wickets are not falling in regular intervals.. but oh well, atleast, I am putting a check over their scoring rate.

End of Over 88 (1 runs). HDCC: 252-3, runrate=2.86
Trail by 80 runs. (HuntingTigers 332-10)
Macdonald 23-3-69-0
Lee* 37 (57 balls)
Mcallister 69 (133 balls)
Last Wicket: Francis lbw b. Walton 62 (FOW: 181/3)

With 22 more overs to go, I think they might reach close to total of mine or below it. Which means, Day 3 is going to be a turning point :upray
