Commentary Thread

HDCC has got the advantage I'd say, just about, Suren. You need some big innings.

End of Over 20 (Maiden). Cheeky Whees CC: 25-6, runrate=1.25
Nkoe 10-6-5-3
Trotman* 0 (10 balls)
Ramgoel 0 (16 balls)
Last Wicket: Hessenthaler c. Hodge b. Sotho 7 (FOW: 25/6)

Both my opening have had 10 overs, I wanted them to have 8 max! Oh well, hopefully they'll change soon.

5 of the wickets I took just said "blank" for commentary xD and a few other blips with them saying things like, and he leaves that one, when they hit a boundary.

Anyway, rolled the bot team out for 37

Edit:

1.1 4 Fordham to Lawrence
Played down to long on, Lawrence calls for a quick run. This could be tight, third umpire has been called. That's out, Lawrence has to go.

Dam it bowled this team out for 40 yesterday and now I'm struggling which is killing the pfl of Woods and Chambers.

Isles 33 (59 balls)

Last Wicket: Hopkins c. Warnock b. Mbeki 37 (FOW: 81/3)

Hopefully should last all three days and have an easy win

Going to be embarrassing if I lose from here.
End of Over 2 (Maiden). Baggy Blues: 0-1, runrate=0.00 (1st Inn: 234-10)
Trail by 126 runs. (The Bulldogs 40-10 & 320-10)
Cantrell 1-1-0-0
Quintus* 0 (4 balls)

Syl, you can't lose that, surely?

End of Over 51 (7 runs). Shore Athletic: 238-3, runrate=4.67
Lead by 147 runs. (Cheeky Whees CC 91-10)
Ramgoel 10-0-36-0
Macey* 28 (37 balls)
Pilkington 89 (90 balls)
Last Wicket: Hendrie c. Champness b. Teggart 72 (FOW: 171/3)

Declaring at 360, to get full batting points. Should have the match wrapped up by the end of the day... hopefully.

End of Over 4 (6 runs). BFN Bombers: 17-1, runrate=4.25 (1st Inn: 200-10)
Trail by 101 runs. (swingaway 231-10 & 87-10)
Berry 2-0-8-0
Nicholls* 3 (3 balls)
Fish 14 (16 balls)
Last Wicket: Meyer b. Prudie 0 (FOW: 1/1)

After a disappointing bowling performance and then an even worse batting performance the lads made up for it by getting swingaway out for 87, so far we've lost a wicket, I just hope we can finish the game off with a win today.

Should win that, Max, could be close though.

End of Over 67 (3 runs). Shore Athletic: 300-3, runrate=4.48
Lead by 209 runs. (Cheeky Whees CC 91-10)
Ramgoel 18-1-73-0
Pilkington* 116 (128 balls)
Macey 59 (96 balls)
Last Wicket: Hendrie c. Champness b. Teggart 72 (FOW: 171/3)

300 is finally up and hopefully we can start picking up the run rate and get to 360 quickly.

Dammit... all over in two days, Hughes took 8 wickets and Wotton hit a double ton

Dammit... all over in two days, Hughes took 8 wickets and Wotton hit a double ton

Congrats on the win, mate. Wotton finally making an impact... :p

28 runs off declaring, not sure if we'll declare before Lunch. If we do then I think I'll win today. If not, then I might not win today. I can hope.

Eurgh, can't get this team out after knocking them over for 37 in the first.
And stupidly declared 9 runs before another bonus point :@

End of Over 21 (Maiden). Pickering CC: 53-3, runrate=2.52 (1st Inn: 37-10)
Trail by 261 runs. (irresistible Innes 351-7 dec)
Biggins 1-1-0-0
Dennis* 2 (19 balls)
Coldicott 21 (50 balls)
Last Wicket: Wilson lbw b. Challinor 13 (FOW: 36/3)

By the way Griffo, why do you want it to last the full 3 days? I would have thought one less day would preserve PFL?

As he was at home and needed the cash, probably.

End of Over 78 (7 runs, 1lb). Shore Athletic: 361-3, runrate=4.63
Lead by 270 runs. (Cheeky Whees CC 91-10)
Teggart 9-0-48-1
Macey* 83 (131 balls)
Pilkington 150 (160 balls)
Last Wicket: Hendrie c. Champness b. Teggart 72 (FOW: 171/3)

We batted well. All the top three were on aggressive and made quick scores for my young batsman and second best batsman to take us home. Need to bowl them out for under 270 now, which should be easy. Hopefully get a few wickets before lunch, even one will do.

Jaztheman added 28 Minutes and 32 Seconds later...

End of Over 7 (4 runs). Cheeky Whees CC: 11-3, runrate=1.57 (1st Inn: 91-10)
Trail by 259 runs. (Shore Athletic 361-3 dec)
Sotho 4-1-7-2
Champness* 4 (6 balls)
Hessenthaler 0 (1 balls)
Last Wicket: Eyre b. Sotho 4 (FOW: 11/3)

Awesome start. Hopefully their middle order will skittle out quickly and my third, fourth, fifth bowlers can actually get wickets this time instead of bowling economically. Should win it in the next session.

Noice.

29.1 . Dhanjal to Ayton
Ooooh, vicious bouncer from Dhanjal, he stares down Ayton to intimidate him, Ayton blows him a kiss and they both crack up laughing. That's nice to see, if a little scary.

:D

That is awesome.

7.5 W Nkoe to Champness
Thick edge from Champness and the ball travelled very quickly to first slip. He manages to parry it up and Hodge is alert and dives full stretch to take the catch.

End of Over 12 (Maiden). Cheeky Whees CC: 16-4, runrate=1.33 (1st Inn: 91-10)
Trail by 254 runs. (Shore Athletic 361-3 dec)
Nkoe 6-4-5-2
Wardley* 1 (9 balls)
Hessenthaler 4 (17 balls)
Last Wicket: Champness c. Hodge b. Nkoe 4 (FOW: 11/4)

In control easily.

Should take that comfortably

Have finished my game finally =]

End of Over 39 (Maiden). Pickering CC: 80-10, runrate=2.05 (1st Inn: 37-10)
Trail by 234 runs. (irresistible Innes 351-7 dec)

Gives my players a nice rest
