A very impressive win today from my boys winning by 7 wickets against the second placed side, especially considering my best batsmen was resting due to PFL reasons. What I thought was strange however was the reporter's summary.

Reporter's Summary
Cambridge Cats Mental Blank
Top Order: exceptional remarkable
Middle Order: superb proficient
Lower Order: worthless abysmal
Seam Bowling: exceptional sensational
Spin Bowling: wonderful competent
Fielding: feeble feeble

I only rate better in one category (seam bowling) yet my victory was so convincing. Maybe the fact that the pitch was slow and it was overcast could of played in my favour but I wouldn't of expected a win this big. Anyway, I'm not complaining, I'll take a win.

And that's the end of the match. St. Johns Penguins CC won by 343 runs.
St. Johns Penguins CC 399-2
TeamHBK 56-10

Forgot to set lineup, i went too hard on them, GFI and best team excluding recent buy. Homegrown Penguin Worthington hit a 173 off 141 and Muller, another homegrown penguin took 5/8 off 3.2 overs on a green pitch... Not fair on the opponents at all... Should help the NRR though. helps to keep me in 2nd place, till the third place guy gets to beat me in the last week, unless i pull off a great lineup to beat him...

TeamHBK St. Johns Penguins CC
Top Order: respectable quality
Middle Order: mediocre quality
Lower Order: woeful abysmal

Spin Bowling: mediocre exceptional
Fielding: feeble feeble

Penguins, This is splendid...

The Chav in the making scores his first of many 100s.

Poor mini chunku :(

And that's the end of the match. Off Drive won by 7 wickets.
dare devils 11 194-10
Off Drive 195-3

A Good win for me, my players took there time in doing it but we won eventually. Slightly dissapointed though as I had to challenge dare devils 11 just yesterday and never actually got to set the team that I would have liked to.

Other than that I still won, so I am still in the plate :)

Should have changed my pitch to get it to the 3rd day.

Last Wicket: Wonnacott b. Lehlohonolo 6 (FOW: 360/5)

Wow, that's a great day. I think I will go for the quick runs tomorrow for a declaration target, after giving Salh a chance at his ton. Very attacking Salh and South tomorrow, methinks.

Made 362/2 dec. at 6 an over. Hollis and Wikus scored tons. Gilroy making his first FC appearance for the season took 4/6 from 14 over's as they fell to 115/7 at the end of day 1.

Playing a semi-bot at home. Flat pitch. Not sure whether to finish this off quick, or drag it on over three days for the cash...
