Playing a semi-bot at home. Flat pitch. Not sure whether to finish this off quick, or drag it on over three days for the cash...

FC gate money has been changed, you now get the majority of the money in the first day. An example from my last home FC game:

13/08/2009 Played a match and received ?29,481 in gate receipts.
12/08/2009 Played a match and received ?30,263 in gate receipts.
11/08/2009 Played a match and received ?233,268 in gate receipts.

IMO, it's always worth saving PFL now.

The extra 30k is handy if you can afford the extra PFL hit.

Masi didn't last long overnight, and 2 of my tail enders left soon after.

End of Over 75 (Maiden, 1lb). Baggy Blues: 241-8, runrate=3.21

Herbert 26-10-53-1
Sawyer* 13 (55 balls)
Woods 0 (1 balls)
Last Wicket: Fernandes Run Out 0 (FOW: 241/8)

Wow talk about a turn around

Last Wicket: Dlomo c. Crouch b. Fernandes 25 (FOW: 35/1)

Won by an innings and 145 runs after scoring 362/2 dec. in my first innings. No man of the match awarded!?!?!? Grady Gilroy took 16 over's, 13 maidens, 6 wickets for 6 runs in their first innings and when they were enforced to follow on, I decided to open the bowling with him despite being a spinner and bowled the innings out finishing with 23 overs, 12 maidens, 5 wickets for 18 runs.

After moving from 5-450 odd today, Salh quickly got his ton then left. South moved to 96 before being dismissed, then the we were all out pretty quick for 529. I rolled them for 106 in the first innings and enforced the follow on, and they are 5-154 overnight.

Foxe (4-15) and Smyth (3-11) were the best bowlers in the first innings. Waters has been the best bowler of this innings so far with 2-26.

That is a big turn around

Even bigger now, only positive is its taken to the 3rd day plus not too fussed as I have 2nd spot all but wrapped up.

End of Over 99 (7 runs). FinleyFC: 417-4, runrate=4.21 (1st Inn: 108-10)
Lead by 282 runs. (Baggy Blues 243-10)
Woods 27-1-119-1
Fieldhouse* 194 (282 balls)
Herring 3 (3 balls)
Last Wicket: Shah c. Masibulele b. Sawyer 5 (FOW: 410/4)

Yep 33k comes in handy when I'm making 130k loss each week. Plus if I won he could throw the last game and I could take first although the way hes played this season suggest he wants to promote.

Cool!

Downside is, due to choosing the stupid flat pitch, the semi-bot will probably drag the match onto day 3 anyways :p

And another massive turn around. Mampe picking up a 4 fer now I'm fighting for the draw although the win is still possible.

End of Over 3 (1 runs). Baggy Blues: 2-1, runrate=0.67 (1st Inn: 243-10)
Trail by 301 runs. (FinleyFC 108-10 & 438-10)
Overs left today: 98
Oakes 2-0-2-0
Shet* 1 (6 balls)
Perkins 0 (4 balls)
Last Wicket: Moodley st. Hluphizwe b. Herbert 1 (FOW: 1/1)

Not again :( 2nd time this has happened to me, dominant the 1st innings only to get killed in the 2nd.

End of Over 35 (1 runs). Baggy Blues: 83-4, runrate=2.37 (1st Inn: 243-10)
Trail by 220 runs. (FinleyFC 108-10 & 438-10)
Overs left today: 66
Moore 5-1-11-0
Masibulele* 39 (60 balls)
Crouch 22 (68 balls)
Last Wicket: Shet c. Bird b. Herbert 4 (FOW: 16/4)

Geez my orders are all stuffed up. And getting a bit nervous the way this bot is going.

End of Over 19: 78-3, runrate=4.11
Hitish 5-0-11-0
Purser* 23 (47 balls)
Baptist 32 (48 balls)
Last Wicket: De bruyns b. Rajasani 6 (FOW: 23/3)

In the end had nothing to worry about, the experience of Sam with 4 wickets made sure this will be an easy win. Shet once again scoring quicker than Moodley.

End of Over 13: 86-0, runrate=6.62, reqrunrate=1.32 (134-10)
Rock 7-0-42-0
Moodley* 32 (29 balls)
Shet 50 (49 balls)
