If I win, I get a play-off match, if I lose and second wins (which he will) I don't.

Not had the best of starts, would have preffered to have been chasing. Need to hope these 2 can get me 275+

Welcome to punjab way ftw CG for the match between punjab way ftw and Livingston Lions.

We can tell you that punjab way ftw won the toss and elected to field. The pitch is looking a bit on the dry side. A fair bit of help for the spinners I think on this partially cloudy and humid day.

End of Over 15: 64-3, runrate=4.27

Berning 1-0-10-0

Tailor* 14 (22 balls)
Abbott 34 (43 balls)

Last Wicket: Ashmore c. Rooney b. Goodall 1 (FOW: 22/3)

7 black forest III.7 48 28.02
8 The Spitfires III.5 48 26.35
=====================================
9 BFN Bombers III.15 48 25.79
10 The CrickCracks III.6 48 24.95

Wouldn't mind losing today, the title is mine and I really don't want to auto-promote. Things are so close there that I doubt everyone above me will win by a better margin than me to keep things the way I want.

End of Over 42: 180-3, runrate=4.29
Tulley 9-1-34-0
Devonish* 55 (57 balls)
Chanmugam 27 (56 balls)
Last Wicket: Monkhouse c. Porter b. Samuel 15 (FOW: 104/3)

Sadly though, I'm looking pretty good as it stands.

Eek, I got hit by the Battrick collapse :doh

I really want the wicket of Roberton, that guy has really hurt me in the past. If I get him, we should be home and dry :upray

End of Over 8: 37-3, runrate=4.63, reqrunrate=4.26 (215-10)
Roper 4-0-22-1
O'Neil* 8 (9 balls)
Roberton 22 (20 balls)

Last Wicket: Radcliffe c. Roper b. Burns 0 (FOW: 13/3)

So in my bid to avoid auto promotion to Div 2, Surmon is bringing the match back and we're looking good for a win with Mampe still to come. Two wickets though and I've lost. However, one team above me in the tables has lost, another game is going to the wire and the rest seem safe. The team below me is cruising atm, I just hope his NRR get's a big enough boost to leapfrog me and be the last team to auto promote assuming that only one team above me loses.

If I promote it'll be hell lol, Div II OD and Div IV FC which is pretty much Div III OD strength will be a real challenge.

41.6 W van Zyl to Surmon
He's played all around that and it's poles everywhere! That pitched just outside off and moved in a fraction off the seam; a little extra pace ensured that it beat the defences of Surmon. A superb delivery.

End of Over 44: 188-7, runrate=4.27, reqrunrate=4.67 (215-10)
van Zyl 7-0-38-4
Mampe* 2 (3 balls)
Kelly 0 (0 balls)
Last Wicket: Samuel lbw b. van Zyl 0 (FOW: 188/7)
43.6 W van Zyl to Samuel
Samuel has a nightmare. The ball goes through off his pads only to be caught by the keeper. The umpire thinks for a second and gives it out LBW. Keeper looks a little crestfallen but really, what difference does it make?
43.5 W van Zyl to Nicholls
Nicholls heaves that. It's big, it's huge!. It's caught by Mcleish at deep backward square leg.

Surmon goes for 98, Nicholls for a solid 30. Now, unless Mampe farms all the strike, we're screwed. Never been so happy at the thought of a loss lol.

And that's the end of the match. Dublin Mutts Nutts won by 12 runs.
Dublin Mutts Nutts 215-10
BFN Bombers 203-10

Oh well, I still won the title though :D

First game with my rival.

Batting first, set them an alright total. Will be a good test for my bowlers.
End of Over 50: 248-5, runrate=4.96
Mathers 10-0-85-0
Shet* 39 (40 balls)
Crouch 45 (28 balls)
Last Wicket: Sawyer c. Mckenzie b. Mcgivern 12 (FOW: 171/5)

Rather him than me, had a real humdinger with PSB XI, but I came out on top... again :p

End of Over 25: 169-2, runrate=6.76
Hussain 3-0-15-0
Hluphizwe* 62 (56 balls)
Elam 88 (83 balls)
Last Wicket: Vivekanand c. Warnock b. Srivaths 6 (FOW: 12/2)

Elam on debut lifting his game, this is a nice partnership after being 12/2 after about 3 overs!

End of Over 32: 215-2, runrate=6.72
Paul 6-0-43-0
Elam* 96 (102 balls)
Hluphizwe 100 (79 balls)
Last Wicket: Vivekanand c. Warnock b. Srivaths 6 (FOW: 12/2)

Huplo wins the race to a hundred between the two and continues into his rich veing of form, if BT goes by the unwritten rule of you should double your score in the last 20, i'm looking closely at 400!

Played a team from my ex OD league, bowled him for 111 with Sawyer and Allen taking 3 a piece. Think I might have found the spot for Allen although still need a few more games.

End of Over 41: 265-3, runrate=6.46
Bridges 6-0-34-2
Allerston* 5 (4 balls)
Hluphizwe 129 (106 balls)
Last Wicket: Elam lbw b. Bridges 110 (FOW: 259/3)

Elam was just out in that over, no longer looking at 400, hoping for around 350. Needs a push though.

End of Over 24: 121-1, runrate=5.04, reqrunrate=7.96 (327-7)
Tau 7-0-40-0
Thorne* 35 (52 balls)
Warnock 52 (64 balls)
Last Wicket: Leadbeater c. Ogrady b. Schulman 26 (FOW: 45/1)

Good comeback from my bowlers...kinda.

Atleast I'm putting up a fight here :p
