Fish 2 (26 balls)
Last Wicket: Porter lbw b. Glasgow 0 (FOW: 1/1)

This game will probably be a good indication of the course my season in FC will be following. Aiming for a draw at worst.

A good day for the Lions, reaching stumps without loosing a wicket and bowling them for just 201

End of Over 22 (1 runs). Livingston Lions: 77-0, runrate=3.50
Trail by 124 runs. (The Mac Attack 201-10)

Overs left today: 0

Dexter 3-0-9-0

Hollis* 37 (59 balls)
Mcbean 38 (75 balls)

End of Over 1 (4 runs). Caprica FC: 4-0, runrate=4.00

Overs left today: 109
Bignot 1-0-4-0
Mcclaren* 0 (0 balls)
Balindlela 4 (6 balls)

Declared overnight, on 7/493, trying to bowl them out twice today, and get this over and done with, but I probably wont be able to, and will have to either come back tomorrow to finish bowling them out the second time, or bat and make some quick runs, then bowl them out.

In a fair bit of crap here.

End of Over 39 (1 runs). Baggy Blues: 93-4, runrate=2.38
Trail by 207 runs. (The People's Army 300-10)
Overs left today: 73
van Schalkwyk 10-2-28-1
Chavhanga* 33 (66 balls)
Moodley 6 (28 balls)
Last Wicket: Branch c. Mikea b. van Schalkwyk 21 (FOW: 72/4)

Balindlela holding them together (he opened), I asked his lad what he's doing, he's just resting his players in FC so he can remain up in OD and BT20, so yeah, this is his second XI.

Hoping to get these last 13 wickets today, TBH.

End of Over 52 (1 runs, 1lb). Caprica FC: 113-7, runrate=2.17
Trail by 380 runs. (Killers CC 493-7 dec)
Overs left today: 58
Fillery 18-9-23-4
Hanson* 0 (5 balls)
Balindlela 50 (153 balls)
Last Wicket: Challis b. Joyce 1 (FOW: 111/7)

Fillery as you can see, dominating as always, Joyce going alright with 2-27 in his first bowl for the club.

The players are off the field for the change of innings.

End of Over 56 (Maiden). Caprica FC: 127-10, runrate=2.27
Trail by 366 runs. (Killers CC 493-7 dec)
Overs left today: 54
Fillery 19-9-24-5
Balindlela* 51 (162 balls)

Fillery gun as always, Joyce 4-35 in his first innings bowling with Killers CC. Balindlela just made 51*, and they will be following on, so that means he will not be unpadding between breaks, instead, having a quick drink and going back out again, having to start again. Hoping we can get these last 10 wickets, tonight.

End of Over 127 (Maiden). Bengal United: 430-10, runrate=3.39
Overs left today: 93
Bisht 36-9-100-3
Terrell* 0 (1 balls)

Hoping to bowl them AO quickly

Well first match in Div 8 and a very close match. Batted first and was bowled out for 273. Then I bowled them out for 307. Laurent and Bridge took a wicket each. Botha and Watkins both took 2 wickets and Gilroy took 3/20 from 10 over's with the last wicket being a run out. The only bowler who didn't take a wicket was Deane who only bowled 2.4 over's and took 0/4 despite being the fourth priority bowler. After falling to 2/4, I battled back to 2/83 before Hollis was dismissed for 20 off 92 balls, a solid and hard worked innings and now Deane has continued going well and is into the 90's and Afridi has come to the crease and started fairly well going towards the 30's. 160/3 and I definately look in a pretty strong position and I reckon I can bowl them out for under 220.

End of Over 51 (Maiden). Hedgers XI: 160-3, runrate=3.14 (1st Inn: 273-10)
Lead by 126 runs. (Bondi Lions 307-10)
Overs left today: 20
Vine 15-4-39-3
Deane* 96 (126 balls)
Afridi 28 (82 balls)

Last Wicket: Hollis lbw b. Vine 20 (FOW: 83/3)

Probably the best thing I get is a draw.

End of Over 20 (7 runs). The People's Army: 59-2, runrate=2.95 (1st Inn: 300-10)
Lead by 177 runs. (Baggy Blues 182-10)
Overs left today: 18
Allen 10-0-36-0
Lancaster* 33 (49 balls)
Windsor 0 (0 balls)
Last Wicket: Rogan b. Chambers 18 (FOW: 52/2)

1 ball left for my tailender (#8 but still worthless batting) to survive the day.

Yes, I survived. Deane made his century before getting out straight after and Afridi was out in the next over for 28. Tyson and Gilroy then battled through to 229/5 before Tyson was out in the second last over of the day and Botha survived 3 balls while Gilroy finished the day on 34* off 58 balls.

That is also a pair of centuries for Deane after scoring 108* off 94 balls in the first innings backing it up with 101 off 139 balls in the second innings.

End of Over 71 (1 runs). Hedgers XI: 230-6, runrate=3.24 (1st Inn: 273-10)
Lead by 196 runs. (Bondi Lions 307-10)
Overs left today: 0
Marrium 13-0-51-0
Gilroy* 34 (58 balls)
Botha 0 (3 balls)

Last Wicket: Tyson c. Brooks b. Biburg 19 (FOW: 229/6)

When I get bowled out tomorrow as I will probably get out quickly, I will open with my 2 best bowlers (both spin) because if I don't do that, they will be #5 and #6 priority and it's a dusty third day pitch. I might just chuck the tailenders on very defensive while putting Gilroy (mediocre batting) on aggressive and hopefully he can score another quick 20-30 runs before I get bowled out and then hope to bowl them out for under 225 or so.

End of Over 19 (2 runs). Nazgul: 65-1, runrate=3.42 (1st Inn: 222-10)
Trail by 143 runs. (Bengal United 430-10)
Overs left today: 2
Terrell 10-1-41-1
Merchia* 27 (49 balls)
Winner 35 (63 balls)
Last Wicket: Parnell c. Myirha b. Terrell 0 (FOW: 0/1)

Enforced follow on. Hoping I can bowl them AO soon enough to seal this by an innings.

End of Over 94 (Maiden). Hotwire: 353-6, runrate=3.76
Trail by 9 runs. (BFN Bombers 362-3 dec)
Overs left today: 44
Tulley 24-3-77-1
Andrews* 34 (56 balls)
Primus 84 (131 balls)
Last Wicket: Glasgow lbw b. Samuel 60 (FOW: 291/6)

Unless there is an epic collapse, this game will end a draw.

Generally I always have my tail-enders on very defensive, regardless of the match situation.

Just lost Abbot but well on my way to 400 which is my declaration total. Should reach it before the close of play, giving me a full day to bowl at them and knock off any runs they make

Nicholls* 12 (25 balls)
Porter 33 (73 balls)
Last Wicket: Teasdale st. Virgo b. Andrews 8 (FOW: 41/3)

Battrick, I hate you.

Gilroy is on his way to fifty but can he get there before he runs out of partners. Botha managed to survive 21 balls without scoring before getting out, Watkins then got out for a 7 ball duck and now Bridge has survived 4 balls and after he gets out, I have 1 wicket left. 6 runs for Gilroy to get it. He has added 10 runs from his overnight score in facing 27 balls (Has been in for 9 over's so far in the day).

Bridge 0 (4 balls)

Last Wicket: Watkins c. Biburg b. Chase 0 (FOW: 244/8)

hedger_14 added 10 Minutes and 3 Seconds later...

WTF is Gilroy doing. He gave Laurent a single so he has to take the strike for the next over. Doesn't he want his fifty. :facepalm

End of Over 83 (2 runs). Hedgers XI: 250-9, runrate=3.01 (1st Inn: 273-10)
