Man, I was on track to win but I just couldn't take the fifth wicket so I will lose against the only team I have a chance against in this league.

My new recruit has been a fail so far, better do something in OD.

Not looking good, need these two to stay in else need some tailend magic which doesn't look likely.

Glad I'm not the only one hating BT! Wasted my PFL for a loss, only rested 2 of my players and I had a decent replacement batsmen yet I still couldn't manage 200 in either innings.
The People's Army Baggy Blues

Winning the toss in green and overcast conditions was a mighty boon for our four-pronged pace attack and indeed we bowled. The first innings was wrapped up in the 34th over.

Henry's XI 66
Townley 6/18
Wharrad 3/29

After a couple of early wickets, a lead was easily established and Barton selflessly declared as he neared a century.

Fighting Mongooses 5/200
Barton 98*
Walter 2/44

At 0/150, it seemed that decision could have been premature, but two sharp catches by Wharrad brought the innings down to earth. He continued to punish with the ball, ripping through the middle order.

Henry's XI 258
Welsby 92
Cuncheer 73*
Dancy 57
Wharrad 4/68

The chase of 124 seemed virtually elementary, though there were tense moments at 5/72.

Fighting Mongooses 5/125
Walter 4/25

Mulvaney* 21 (23 balls)
Spillane 39 (40 balls)
Last Wicket: Vidale c. Fu b. Murray 0 (FOW: 5/1)

After a terrible start, starting to look solid. Want to up the ante and post >350, TBH.

Excellent opening spell by Fernades with 3-25.

End of Over 23: 86-3, runrate=3.74
Allen 2-0-3-0
Hitchmough* 15 (46 balls)
Powell 42 (63 balls)
Last Wicket: Richards b. Fernandes 4 (FOW: 41/3)

Okay, you've got 5 wickets now. That's enough. Time to see the result.

angryangy added 0 Minutes and 50 Seconds later...

Win by 6 wickets, well played.

Lol you talking about my team or yours?
Finally get Fernades working like he should be, 8-47 a Tait like spell of bowling.
The ironic thing is the player I brought into replace Masi has sucked big time while Masi continues to kill it. Crouch saved PFL by getting out early and Chav batting at 6 also conserved his.
