And BB have done it, its taken 5 tries but the Penguins have finally been sent to the south pole empty handed :p

And that's the end of the match. Baggy Blues won by 39 runs.
Baggy Blues 235-9
St. Johns Penguins CC 196-10

Not too impressed with the collapse I received though. Went from 202/4 to 235/9 with my exceptional batter just in only making 5. Good bowling all round in the end apart from Chambers who had an off day. Sawyer got the key wickets along with Mampe and Allen and Fernades did the tail cleaning.

Didnt set lineup, but that was the lineup i wanted to send, so no complaints :P decent effort by the boys, I see they are able to manage 200 on uneven pitches against slightly better opponents. bowling wise, the spinners could have been economical

Ah stop bot bashing Angry!

End of Over 6: 23-0, runrate=3.83, reqrunrate=4.91 (238-5)
Sura 3-0-10-0
Moodley* 10 (21 balls)
Duggan 11 (16 balls)

Bowled first, amazing enough I had 3 bowlers over 5 an over and yet still kept them under 240. Sawyer was Godly with 2-18 and Chambers was solid with 0-36. This is my bogey team although I actually kinda of want to lose as I'll be 2 wins ahead 2nd (him) but it is also Chavhanga last ever match for the Baggy Blues so hmmmm.

End of Over 14: 74-0, runrate=5.29, reqrunrate=6.61 (311-5)
Gledhill 2-0-15-0
Hitish* 38 (55 balls)
Norton 34 (30 balls)
Slow start but steadily improving my run rate. It's going to be a close finish.

If I win this I'm more or less assured of first spot.

Added an hour or so later...
End of Over 35: 195-2, runrate=5.57, reqrunrate=7.80 (311-5)
Dyer 8-0-52-0
Greenwood* 11 (38 balls)
Norton 129 (97 balls)
Last Wicket: Zakaria b. Saville 0 (FOW: 125/2)
My team doesn't really like helping Norton do they? Need Greenwood to go out for me to have a chance of winning.

Edit: ████, Norton out very next ball. Not looking good.

35.2 W Gledhill to Norton
A ferocious inswinger. Norton had absolutely no chance. Bowling from the top drawer.

Post added 1 hour later.

Needed 8 to win from the last over but could only manage 6 singles. Really dissapointed.

And that's the end of the match. Green Jelly won by 1 run.
Green Jelly 311-5
Aussie Bombers 310-3

End of Over 50: 310-3, runrate=6.20
Burgess 10-1-69-0
Mccormick* 60 (48 balls)
Greenwood 64 (80 balls)

I'm considering selling Greenwood. For a destructive batsmen he bats way too slow. Mccormick is cautious and he smashes them!

Shadaf is a gem :banana2

I'm playing Ingham as a batsman today to save his PFL and only playing 6 batsmen, so am getting a bit twitchy about 2 early wickets. Got 3 of my 1XI bowlers set to bowl though, so not too worried

End of Over 10: 61-2, runrate=6.10

Mahinda 5-0-31-1

Mcbean* 1 (1 balls)
Ashmore 41 (33 balls)

Last Wicket: Morne lbw b. Mahinda 10 (FOW: 58/2)

Now I'm beginning to worry :(

10.3 W Lord to Mcbean
That was Lord's 'Tower of Pisa' ball. A deceptive bit of outswing has seen the off stump of Mcbean stand at a very distinctive angle.

Highlander999 added 5 Minutes and 45 Seconds later...

OH FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!!!!

11.5 W Mahinda to Hollis
Remarkable! The ball catches the edge and flies away to second slip, who in turn makes a complete mess of it. The deflection, however, pops up and Suttie takes probably the easiest catch he'll get this season. I guess you can call that great teamwork...

This team could barely pull rating's of strong in his previous match's and suddenly my batsmen decide to see if we can lose in as stupid fashion as possible. Ingham who was meant to be saving PFL needs to bat for about 35 overs with Ashmore now otherwise it is into the bowlers :facepalm

End of Over 12: 71-4, runrate=5.92
Mahinda 6-0-34-2
Ingham* 1 (1 balls)
Ashmore 43 (36 balls)

Last Wicket: Hollis c. Suttie b. Mahinda 6 (FOW: 70/4)

End of Over 8: 42-0, runrate=5.25, reqrunrate=6.43 (311-1)
Wheat 4-1-15-0
Settle* 20 (31 balls)
Fallon 20 (19 balls)

This will be an interesting match :)

These have been the two in form batsmen for me this season and they are saving me face at the moment:

End of Over 25: 134-4, runrate=5.36

Rawle 6-0-39-0

Ingham* 34 (45 balls)
Ashmore 71 (71 balls)

Last Wicket: Hollis c. Suttie b. Mahinda 6 (FOW: 70/4)

Thats why you got sold Chav. And wth BT engine 4 runouts, seriously? Anyway was a day for defensive spinners his one got 3-21 including Chavhanga.
