Someone want to tell Syl he isn't playing a Test match? :p

Welcome to The Enclosure for the match between Livingston Lions and Baggy Blues.

We can tell you that Livingston Lions won the toss and elected to field. The pitch is looking quite cracked! A field day for the seam bowlers I would reckon on this sunny day.

End of Over 10: 22-1, runrate=2.20

Manders 5-1-9-0

Crouch* 9 (25 balls)
Shet 9 (32 balls)

Last Wicket: Moodley c. Bradley b. Levy 1 (FOW: 4/1)

Pretty pleased with this bowling performance. Everyone was good apart from Ingham in his first spell, but he bounced back pretty well.

End of Over 50: 251-5, runrate=5.02

Levy 10-1-40-2

Sawyer* 6 (6 balls)
Duggan 13 (12 balls)

Last Wicket: Rayno c. Morne b. Manders 24 (FOW: 237/5)

Had a feeling Shet was my missing man at the top, his speed will come once he gets a stam net and increases in skill.

BB vs Chav lasted 18 balls before Mampe grabbed him.
End of Over 16: 65-3, runrate=4.06, reqrunrate=5.50 (251-5)
Sawyer 3-0-12-1
Hollis* 35 (41 balls)
Bradley 0 (4 balls)
Last Wicket: Ingham c & b. Sawyer 19 (FOW: 65/3)

What a famous victory. Thought I was finished an hour into day 3 but got them out just after lunch:

End of Over 91 (Maiden). Jamaican cool team : 288-10, runrate=3.16 (1st Inn: 381-10)
Lead by 267 runs. (Baggy Blues 402-1 dec)
Allen 18-9-14-4
Blackburn* 7 (31 balls)

And then chased the total down in 48 overs. Admittedly he had crap bowlers but a draw was very likely last time I checked.

End of Over 48 (8 runs). Baggy Blues: 271-1, runrate=5.65 (1st Inn: 402-1 dec)
Lead by 4 runs. (Jamaican cool team 381-10 & 288-10)
Bradley 19-0-92-1
Branch* 42 (51 balls)
Duggan 123 (130 balls)
Last Wicket: Shet lbw b. Bradley 102 (FOW: 189/1)
And that's the end of the match. Baggy Blues won by 9 wickets.

Played number 4 team today... Has a decent team and almost took out my batting last time... My bowlers saved that day for me then...

In the second leg today, I sent the best XI with only one replacement, Muller was dropped and replaced by Rogan due to PFL reasons, Muller was tired after his FC match... One spinner and 4 seamers on a dusty pitch...

Won the toss, fielded first, bowled them out for 96... Groves got 4 wickets... Chasing the score was slow, and we were 70/1 when we lost our 2nd wicket.. In the end we lost 4 wickets when we reached the target... Not a very impressive display of batting today by either teams, but the Penguins had the edge...

Sphalman Team - 96/10 (27.4 Overs)

Kabir 20 (21)
Srichand 20 (24)

Groves 4/43 (8.4 Overs)
Suren 2/9 (5 Overs)

St. Johns Penguins CC - 97/4 (22 Overs)

Gledhill 27 (59)
Talia 22 (24)

Knight 1/6 (1 Over)
Lungile 1/14 (5 overs)

St. Johns Penguins CC win by 6 wickets
MOTM: Groves - pretty easy choice i believe, not much to choose from

Sphalman Team St. Johns Penguins CC
Top Order: wonderful wonderful
Middle Order: respectable wonderful
Lower Order: worthless abysmal
Seam Bowling: remarkable remarkable
Spin Bowling: wonderful elite
Fielding: woeful feeble

That is with just one spinner... Still looks scary though

End of Over 36: 181-1, runrate=5.03
Parol 7-0-30-0
Vivekanand* 55 (93 balls)
Elam 97 (104 balls)
Last Wicket: Ashton c. Hussain b. Cohen 24 (FOW: 36/1)

Nice start to mine and ZD's game, not sure what Vivvy is doing considering he is on attacking and Elam is on defensive!

Should be an easy win for you. All my reserves and both Liddlelow and Parol are exhausted :p

Picked three spinners on a H&F too!

End of Over 49: 287-1, runrate=5.86
Liddlelow 10-0-52-0
Elam* 153 (140 balls)
Vivekanand 105 (135 balls)
Last Wicket: Ashton c. Hussain b. Cohen 24 (FOW: 36/1)

At one point I was 5 down with 110 needed in 11 overs to win. Exact.

I am now 7 down needing 3 runs to win in 4 balls.

What a game! :p

ZoraxDoom added 4 Minutes and 8 Seconds later...

I did it! :o

And that's the end of the match. Eleven Ducks won by 3 wickets.
Off Drive 299-1
Eleven Ducks 301-7

End of Over 50: 301-7, runrate=6.02
Furlong 9-1-54-3
Rudland* 4 (3 balls)
106 (79 balls)

49.3 4 Furlong to Hather
Furlong strays down the leg side and Hather simply nudges it away for four down to fine leg.

From here:

End of Over 27: 131-5, runrate=4.85, reqrunrate=7.35 (299-1)
Ahad 6-0-33-1
Hussain* 18 (16 balls)
Hather 8 (4 balls)
Last Wicket: Fingall c. Vivekanand b. Ahad 51 (FOW: 123/5)

To here:

End of Over 39: 190-5, runrate=4.87, reqrunrate=10.00 (299-1)
Schulman 8-0-34-0
Hather* 35 (43 balls)
Hussain 49 (49 balls)
Last Wicket: Fingall c. Vivekanand b. Ahad 51 (FOW: 123/5)

To winning is just...wow.

And to think I had 3 spinners bowling on a H&F, 2 of who were around moderate fitness, and had those two moderate fitness spinners batting at 3 and 4 as well.

My keeper bat was on fresh fitness and scored a quick 51 off 50ish balls to boot.

Hussain played a gem of a knock, especially after bowling 10 overs, and Hather was just incredible. Man of the match, easily.

Oh, and Ollie sucks :D I wasn't anywhere near full strength :p

And that's the end of the match. Invincibles XI won by 29 runs.
Invincibles XI 317-6
tigerbla 288-10

Who's the man :D

I was scared at one point, they were only one wicket down in the 37th over. Started a demolition job after that though.

I am playing Funky and put him to bat first! :p

End of Over 20: 48-4, runrate=2.40
Gayle 2-0-7-1
Johal* 1 (3 balls)
Akrivelli 3 (9 balls)

Last Wicket: Myirha c. Singh b. Gayle 14 (FOW: 45/4)

My strike bowler - Karthikeyan 6-3-4-3 have done an exceptional job. :hpraise

You should have batted first..and the big mistake made by me the biggest mistake ffs is I set the pitch to green despite seeing Suren bhai having such a strong bowling line up

Funknath added 1 Minutes and 59 Seconds later...

23.2 6 Gayle to Johal
He's smashed that one out of the ground. That's one of the biggest hits since The Beatles.

C'mon at least take the score to 100 :laugh

Yes, I should have batted first and we would have seen your Billy bowl :p

End of Over 10: 56-2, runrate=5.60, reqrunrate=0.78 (86-10)
Sanders 1-0-12-0
Stock* 26 (29 balls)
Singh 19 (14 balls)

Last Wicket: Alshaun b. Ghandi 2 (FOW: 16/2)

Gayle's 6/22 gives some confidence to him as well. :)

Needed to win this match to keep my hopes of finishing #1 alive...

And what happens ?

And that's the end of the match. It has ended in a tie!!
Invincibles XI 232-10
gkrXI 232-5

End of Over 50: 232-5, runrate=4.64
Hickes 10-2-41-2
Ghandi* 53 (76 balls)
17 (14 balls)
