6 wickets in about 25 overs will give me a great shot here.

Hope I can shoot them out quick. I dunnow how fast my players will bat, despite the more-aggressive-than-usual orders. I'm guessing that 120 would be chase-able...

ZoraxDoom added 0 Minutes and 35 Seconds later...

The players are off the field for the change of innings.

Hey, looks like they declared!

:D

And that's the end of the match. Eleven Ducks won by 7 wickets.

w00t.

Victory courtesy of a bizarre declaration from my opponents.

I forgot to set my lineup, was going to do it last night but wanted to do some thinking over my tactics and ended up not doing them at all. Main one I needed was GFI. At least I'm batting first so there is a bit of hope.

End of Over 13: 62-2, runrate=4.77
Downing 7-0-22-2
Branch* 10 (10 balls)
Crouch 8 (10 balls)
Last Wicket: Moodley lbw b. Downing 35 (FOW: 46/2)

Another thriller install with Slick Skills, last time I caused the ultimate collapse and I'm hoping for a repeat.

End of Over 46: 220-6, runrate=4.78, reqrunrate=2.25 (228-5)
Allen 8-0-48-2
Phindile* 1 (1 balls)
Thay 14 (16 balls)
Last Wicket: Greening c. Rayno b. Allen 5 (FOW: 215/6)

Into his tail, Thay the last batsmen but need a hattrick to be any real chance.

On track to win my cup match. This is one of Gilroy's wickets. One of the funniest commentary lines I've seen in the game.

35.2 W Gilroy to Muldowney
Don't blame it on the ball shine, don't blame it on the great flight, don't blame it on the crease line, blame it on the googly. That's out!

Gilroy took 8/17 from 7.5 over's as I bowled them out for 174 and after being 2/0 and Afridi going for a duck, I'm now 143/1 with Bittner on 82*.

Second XI on TIE today, at least the bot put up a bit of a fight when batting. Kay picked up 4 as they managed 7/237 off their 50, we chased it in 39.3, 2 down, with Hughes 108* and Breen scoring a solid 96, falling shortly before the win.

End of Over 2: 2-1, runrate=1.00, reqrunrate=7.46 (359-1)
Makooi 1-0-1-1
Sangam* 1 (2 balls)
Nitya-Sundara 0 (6 balls)
Last Wicket: Yalamanchili b. Makooi 1 (FOW: 1/1)

Bot bashing FTW!

And that's the end of the match. Bengal United won by 321 runs.
Bengal United 359-1
Sher-e-Panjab 38-10

End of Over 13: 38-10, runrate=2.92
Nkosinathi 1-0-3-1
Baratiya* 0 (3 balls)

A comfortable win in the end :D

Playing an ok team today in Cup... Debut for Glasser, bowling 10 overs straight... pity though he got only 2 wickets so far...

End of Over 17: 44-8, runrate=2.59

Suren took 5 wickets in 3 Overs, gave 2 runs and had 2 maidens

Oops forgot to set my lineup. Good thing I had my semi good one from last season set as default.
End of Over 23 (6 runs). Baggy Blues: 103-3, runrate=4.48
Overs left today: 87
Rich 6-0-31-0
Rayno* 39 (53 balls)
Crouch 62 (66 balls)
Last Wicket: Duggan c & b. Siems 2 (FOW: 5/3)

They were..

End of Over 54 (5 runs). My 11: 146-3, runrate=2.70
Trail by 24 runs. (Invincibles XI 170-10)
Overs left today: 107
Mcdonald 11-3-31-0
Potter* 64 (112 balls)
Bhutia 15 (50 balls)

And then they were..

End of Over 70 (Maiden). My 11: 156-10, runrate=2.23
Trail by 14 runs. (Invincibles XI 170-10)
Overs left today: 91
Hunt 10-6-10-2
Bhutia* 1 (12 balls)

I love my bowlers. o.O

End of Over 33: 134-4, runrate=4.06
Chambers 7-1-22-0
Horton* 8 (21 balls)
Speight 80 (107 balls)
Last Wicket: Doughty c. Branch b. Rogers 1 (FOW: 99/4)

Rogers been a handy pick up, 2-6 off his 5 overs.

Geez Rogers is just a machine.

End of Over 42: 164-8, runrate=3.90
Rogers 6-4-6-5
Speight* 91 (122 balls)
Croft 0 (0 balls)
Last Wicket: Mccormick c. Sawyer b. Rogers 0 (FOW: 164/8)
41.6 W Rogers to Mccormick
Mccormick tries the reverse sweep and plays straight into the hands of Sawyer at point. Ridiculous dismissal.
41.5 . Rogers to Mccormick
I don't think Mccormick was expecting reverse swing; he was somewhat fortunate that the resulting inside edge didn't hit his stumps.
41.4 W Rogers to Castle
Missed that completely. He will get a bit of stick for that when he returns to the dressing room.
41.3 W Rogers to Reece
Got him! Tried to work it away off of his hip, then instinctively set off for a single, only to find Branch had gathered it and had whipped off the bails. An embarrassing exit, but good work by the keeper.
41.2 . Rogers to Reece
Outside the off, lift, left for Branch to field.
41.1 W Rogers to Horton
Horton is squared up by a delivery which leaves him off the pitch, edging to first slip where Crouch just hangs on to the catch.

End of Over 44: 168-10, runrate=3.82
Rogers 6-4-7-6
Speight* 94 (125 balls)
