won my cup match easily... they batted first made 211-9.. Rauf took 4-19 in (10overs)
I won by 10 wickets ... Saleemudin with 126

yes i won, swift and nelson with fireworks at the end to win it with about 6 overs to spare, last people with deccent batting

My opponents are weird. I checked his fixtures and squads to set my lineup against him. His squad was crap, yet he had won quite a few games. So I thought, really crap oppnents. However, it turns out, he had an awesome squad by the end of last season! However, he sold every player in it and got a completely new crap sqaud! Seriously, I looked at his lineups for hims second last game of the season and his last one. The lineups were about 95% different, and nearly every player form the first lineup were with other teams!!
Don't undesrstand why he would do that. Anyways, I went in with a weak team. Conelly (Comp. Bowl, Worthless Cons. Med. Stamina) and Bunn (Woeful Bowl, Abysmal COns, Feeble Stamina) both got a bowl today. Also Andrews(Second spinner), Binns (Second-string seamer, YP) and Leonard (Second-string seamer) all got a game. Fallon(Keeper, used to be first choice before Bolder arrived) also makes a comeback and is going to open the innings with Crouch.

We can tell you that TT Lions won the toss and elected to field. The pitch is looking a touch on the green side. All the seam bowlers have been out there rubbing their hands..
End of Over 35: 150-2, runrate=4.29
Binns 6-1-8-1
Leeds* 5 (12 balls)
Stonebridge 5 (19 balls)

Last Wicket: Stanton c. Fallon b. Leonard 64 (FOW: 141/2)

His two opening batsmen were recently bought. Stanton, the fella who just got out, was a wicketkeeper with his old team. (61 matches, 106 catches, 23 stumpings) However, he bowled in this guys first cup game! Even stranger was that he took 6/49!!!

Lol @ Zorax! Anyway, I've got another away game next week in which I will probably win!! Yay! 4 weeks into the cup is like a dream come true.

From 176/2 off 41 overs too...

End of Over 45: 188-8, runrate=4.18
Conelly 8-0-47-3
Dann* 0 (1 balls)
Van der merwe 0 (0 balls)

Last Wicket: Lodge b. Conelly 5 (FOW: 188/8)

Rest of his batting was pretty crap...

23.5 4 Leeds to Crouch
Too wide and cut away for four.
23.4 6 Leeds to Crouch
Using the force of the bowling to his advantage; Crouch has knocked that out of the ground and into the Groundman's cottage! Wouldn't like to be him.
23.3 4 Leeds to Crouch
The edge could have been caught had Verma dived to his left, but the ball races away for four behind him.
23.2 6 Leeds to Crouch
Slower ball by Leeds. Hasn't fooled Crouch in the slightest. A lusty blow, well timed and easily clears the long off boundary. Maximum runs added to the total.

:)

End of Over 35: 227-1, runrate=6.49, reqrunrate=0.13 (228-8)
Stanton 4-0-29-0
Crouch* 123 (101 balls)
Rudi 64 (60 balls)

Last Wicket: Fallon b. Stonebridge 23 (FOW: 82/1)

And that's the end of the match. TT Lions won by 9 wickets.
Svendborg KK 228-8
TT Lions 229-1
My cup run continues!! :)

Well, sadly my cup run comes to an end: http://www.battrick.org/nl/squad.asp?userID=225

They've got a 20 year old whos part of the England U19 squad!

Oh well, its been fun for 2 games. Now I have to concentrate on winning the league. There aer two big transfers I'm going for tomorrow (if I get both I will be in debt by about ?100,000) and if I get one I will be delighted.

Is it safe to assume that no one has had a better start to a match than this:
1.1 6 Verma to Mapes
Charges down the pitch and unleashes a mighty blow - that one's gone all the way into the crowd. Six runs! That really does show some aggressive intent.

End of Over 1: 15-0, runrate=15.00
Pardew 1-0-14-0
Mapes* 12 (4 balls)
Hume 2 (2 balls)

0.6 2 Pardew to Hume
Edged ... through second slip and the batsmen return for the second. The bowler is not too happy with the fielder's effort there.
0.5 1 Pardew to Mapes
Gently flicked around to deep fine leg as they scramble the single.
0.4 6 Pardew to Mapes
Mapes has really got hold of that one! It's gone high into the stands, straight to Dr Mapes who promptly dropped it. Did he aim for his father?
0.3 b1 Pardew to Hume
Ball not collected cleanly by Crick. The batsmen pick up a bye.
0.2 1 Pardew to Mapes
Lifted over the inner ring to mid wicket.
0.1 4 Pardew to Mapes
Nice shot, through the gap for 4!

Also, the opponent is quite good as well. Not a bot.

Both the bowlers have 10,000+ BTR.

I dunno, my start was fairly good:

1.2 W Griffin to Scott
Acrobatic catch from Zafarullah there!

But then Otto gor a bit of stick:

End of Over 3: 22-1, runrate=7.33
Otto 2-0-19-0
Powell* 11 (7 balls)
John 11 (9 balls)

Still, I'm playing 2 spinners on a Dusty pitch against a better team, so any wickets to the quickies are a bonus.
