Alshaun going with couple of big sixes,
Code:
18.3 6	Rampaul to Alshaun
Look at Alshaun, he looks glorious. He's kept that pose for an extra second, so all the photographers can get him in focus

17.3 6	Paki to Alshaun
Brilliant shot! SIX! The fielder was never going to catch that!

20 Overs ended, not much happy though.. but batters have done well considering all ( Folds,Alshaun,Rampaul and Malik ) were in energetic PFL.

End of Over 20: 184-2, runrate=9.20
Nickson 4-0-29-0
Folds* 89 (62 balls)
Alshaun 27 (12 balls)

Last Wicket: Malik b. Paki 11 (FOW: 133/2)

It now depends on my bowlers who were also in energetic PFL except Wotton.

0.1 6 Macdonald to Ford
That's going, going gooooone!!!!

This is threatening way to start the chase... Very first ball... SIX

0.3 4 Macdonald to Ford
Ford moves right across to outside off stump and lifts that over short fine leg for four runs. Macdonald will need to rethink his field positioning
one.

Its gone worse when soon a boundary followed.

Some hopes came, when this happened,

1.1 W Love to Ford
Got him! The batsman let that ball go and it's cannoned into off stump. Ford is in disbelief!

Once again, hope was short lived, when another SIX came,

1.6 6 Love to Ghandi
Launched a rocket with that shot. Six all the way!

And scorecard,

End of Over 2: 22-1, runrate=11.00, reqrunrate=9.06 (184-2)
Love 1-0-9-1
Vedanayagam* 2 (2 balls)
Ghandi 7 (4 balls)
Last Wicket: Ford b. Love 13 (FOW: 13/1)

I am starting to loose confidence. :(

The game is slipping away....
Code:
2.6 [B]3	[/B]Macdonald to Ghandi
A lovely wristy shot from Ghandi and nicely placed too. Field chases that down just inside the boundary.
2.6 [B]nb.[/B]	Macdonald to Ghandi
no ball, Short of a length outside off stump, Ghandi played and missed.
2.5 [B]6[/B]	Macdonald to Ghandi
Maybe I shouldn't have bowled a bouncer at Ghandi during the last Commentators vs Professionals match. He's just smacked a thunderbolt straight at the commentary box. I'm going to have to insist on bulletproof glass from now on...

Scorecard atm,

End of Over 3: 33-1, runrate=11.00, reqrunrate=8.94 (184-2)
Macdonald 2-0-24-0
Ghandi* 16 (8 balls)
Vedanayagam 3 (5 balls)
Last Wicket: Ford b. Love 13 (FOW: 13/1)

Ya Syl, really dont know how its going to end!

A 6 after four dot balls.

6.6 6 Mulligan to Ghandi
Slower ball and thwack! Ghandi got under that full length delivery and slammed it over the long on fence. Powerful shot!

I need wickets... especially this Ghandi manages to get regular boundaries.
End of Over 7: 58-1, runrate=8.29, reqrunrate=9.77 (184-2)
Mulligan 2-0-13-0
Vedanayagam* 10 (19 balls)
Ghandi 33 (18 balls)
Last Wicket: Ford b. Love 13 (FOW: 13/1)

Things are slowing down which is a good sign. If you can blow that RRR out the window will be tough for him to win.

I am also depending on this RRR Syl, but one good over will release the pressure..... I need quick wickets which they are denying.

After 12 Overs,

End of Over 12: 93-1, runrate=7.75, reqrunrate=11.50 (184-2)
Mulligan 3-0-20-0
Ghandi* 58 (38 balls)
Vedanayagam 19 (30 balls)
Last Wicket: Ford b. Love 13 (FOW: 13/1)

I really need Vedanayagam on strike ;) 19 from 30 balls in Twenty20 :) But Ghandi is going very dangerous,

12.2 6 Wotton to Ghandi
He's hit it up, up, up, up and..... it hasn't come down? That's been skied miles out of the park. The umpire will have to give a six for that one.

Another SIX!!!

12.6 6 Wotton to Ghandi
Going...going...gone! Six runs! And to top it off, the ball will land on a passing train!

This is going worse....

No 4s in the Wotton over so hasn't fully released the pressure.

I think they heard it as you say :p

14.6 4 Wotton to Ghandi
Magnificent shot straight down the ground and deep mid off can't get there in time to cut it off.
14.5 4 Wotton to Ghandi
Gets forward and plays it high over a vacant long off for a four.

Tensed situation.. RRR is 12!
End of Over 15: 125-1, runrate=8.33, reqrunrate=12.00 (184-2)
Wotton 4-0-40-0
Vedanayagam* 27 (35 balls)
Ghandi 82 (51 balls)
Last Wicket: Ford b. Love 13 (FOW: 13/1)

Problem of not getting wickets might turn as a major drawback in the end.

Ghandi is the big wicket, he is on fire atm.

Syl, they hear all what u say... :)

16.6 W Macdonald to Ghandi
Macdonald's pitched one right up in the blockhole and it's struck Ghandi on the boot! There's a sustained appeal from the bowler and finally the umpire raises his finger! Macdonald's got his man! OUT!

Can this be a turning point?

End of Over 18: 153-2, runrate=8.50, reqrunrate=16.00 (184-2)
Hamed 4-0-37-0
Vedanayagam* 37 (40 balls)
Hennessy 0 (3 balls)
Last Wicket: Ghandi lbw b. Macdonald 99 (FOW: 144/2)

32 runs from 12 balls... can bowlers defend?????

Another wicket,

18.3 W Macdonald to Hennessy
Hits him on the foot right in front of middle stump. Start the long walk, you're out!

End of Over 19: 166-3, runrate=8.74, reqrunrate=19.00 (184-2)
Macdonald 4-0-41-2
Vedanayagam* 38 (41 balls)
Tretton 6 (3 balls)
Last Wicket: Hennessy lbw b. Macdonald 6 (FOW: 160/3)

19 runs from last over.. can bowlers defend still?

19.1 1 Love to Vedanayagam
Guided down to third man for a single.

18 from 5 balls... This is going tensed.. Love is bowling a crucial over!

19.3 b1 Love to Vedanayagam
That's not only beaten Vedanayagam but Folds too! They'll pick up a bye there.
19.2 1 Love to Tretton
Forward, deep backward point runs in to field the ball.

Excellent so far...

19.4 W Love to Tretton
That has jagged back off the seam and hit the top of the off stump. Alshaun catches the bail and hands it to the umpire.

Excellent bowling taking a wicket in crucial time!

16 from 2 balls... I think its over ;) Well done Love!

Congrats Suren on to the next round :)

Thanks Syl :)

Very close match... HuntingTigers managed to win by 10 runs in the end.
And that's the end of the match. HuntingTigers won by 10 runs.

HuntingTigers 184-2
Dynamic Daredevils 174-4

i still can't believe it.... The way they started with a Six... the way that partnership looked threatening... Macdonald and Love came back well in the last spells.

This is the reporters summary,
Code:
[B][U]Reporter's Summary[/U][/B]

	[B]Dynamic Daredevils HuntingTigers
[/B]
Top Order: feeble feeble
Middle Order: feeble feeble
Lower Order: worthless abysmal
Seam Bowling: feeble feeble
Spin Bowling: woeful mediocre
Fielding: feeble feeble

[B]MOTM: Folds[/B]

This shows why there was a equal contest in the match ;)

And also, Folds make a hattrick in winning MOTM of all the three games played in Twenty20. :happy But his battrick rating remains still(not even +1) for more than a month.
