Commonwealth Bank Series Feb-Mar 2011/12

He didn't need to stick out his hand as it was going straight to Dhoni and not hitting him anywhere. Decision has already been made so there is no point discussing.

Yes. And the point where he stops that throw is in front of his body and towards his right. If he had let it alone, the speed of the throw would have easily crossed Hussey and it was clear to the eye. If Inzamam was out obstructing the field in that game in Peshawar (there too, the throw was from Raina), then this was out too...

I don't think the recent change to law 37 has any relevance, he didn't change direction. This was handled the ball if anything.

...and you're allowed to handle the ball to avoid injury.

At least Dhoni can blame the loss on something other than his teams poor performance and not being in India.

Well currently, it does feel like they are playing in India by the response of crowd.

Can you get a little better than this crap that you have just dished out? I am interested.:rolleyes

What about this one then?

Inzamam Obstructing the field - YouTube

Inzmam is outside his crease, he stopped the throw by his bat and was given out.
Just because one decision is out doesn't mean this one is. Just like this one being not out doesn't mean that one wasn't.

It's no different to a bad LBW decision, which of course wouldn't have anyone as worked up as this.

I am sorry, it was a bad joke. Obviously I don't know Dhoni personally so I don't know what he is going to do.
I don't see how I was being unreasonably hostile.

Australia does have a large Indian community.

It's good, it adds to the atmosphere of the match.

This was given out when this rule wasn't even there I think and now when it actually is there, they are giving it not out.

If he was declared out..am sure Dhoni wouldn't have taken back the appeal as he did with Bell. No consideration for Ind-Pak, Ind-Aus!

Did Wade need to be hit in order for an appeal to count? Because its as clear as day he changed his line to get in the way of the throw there.

The rule will probably be protested by the BCCI now that it's gone against India, so probably the last we'll see of it.

Inzamam situation looked more ridiculous than Husseys due to him playing a defensive shot at the ball, unfortunately that probably influenced the decision.

Enough of this BCCI crap. You didnt seem ot have any problem when the ICC was ruled by Eng/Aus. Can't play murali so ban him for suspect action. Absolute disgrace.:facepalm:facepalm

When all is said and done, I didn't like the fact Dhoni kept going with Bowden, the third umpire is as high as you can go, so the decision is made. Take it further after the game.
Just as annoying as when Punter used to do it.
