Commonwealth Bank Series Feb-Mar 2011/12

Wouldn't have been out anyway, can't throw the ball at a player and then appeal for obstruction.

As I said ball was going to Dhoni. I don't think it is a correct decision. Well Hussey survives.

You know the law actually does make distinctions about the hand not holding the bat. I'm curious what their decision was because they talked about it a lot.

Absolute tripe! Hussey should have been ruled out there. From the replays showed, it was quite clear that Hussey lifted his hand a few more seconds before and it was clear that he was trying to push the ball off. HE WAS OUT and that was a bull crap decision.... Dhoni should understandably be livid.

He stopped it with his hand. Be it intentional or not!
What are the new rules for, if you don't follow them? BULLSH*T!

He didn't need to stick out his hand as it was going straight to Dhoni and not hitting him anywhere. Decision has already been made so there is no point discussing.

To be fair, whoever threw that ball, it was a hard throw. Natural instincts to protect yourself.

But whether it's out or not, i'm not here to judge it.

???

It was at Husseys body when he was less than a metre out of his ground, even if it didn't hit him he would have made his ground.

Raina took a blow to his shin in previous match while taking a quick single. He didn't used his bat or hand to deflect the ball then.
