Commonwealth Bank Series Feb-Mar 2011/12

Haha, Tendulkar took off like a shot, ran in Lee's direction, then veered away and made a feeble attempt to slide his bat :lol

Oh come on! Lee clearly moved into Sachin's direction and Sachin had to steer away from Lee to attempt to make the crease..... If it was not a big thing, why did Billy have a chat with Taufel even after Taufel had raised his finger?

This is the 1999 Shoaib Akthar-Tendulkar incident all over again......

Tendulkar took off like a shot, ran in Lee's direction
ran in Lee direction? wait..what?

I will quote Cricinfo here-
Lee ran across the pitch towards the ball, and then stopped to observe as Warner ran in from point and under-armed it. Lee needn't have been there, but he was. And he wasn't there intentionally to block Tendulkar, but he did.

That guy is trying to be nice there to make sure he avoid flaming comments from Cricinfo followers who are Aussie fans. Lee was intentionally obstructing Tendulkar. Dont put Taufel and Billy together. They are one BIG DISASTERRRR!!!!

I think there was no reason why Lee would run across like that,
he wasn't running to catch the ball as a fielder was already there nor was he trying to cover the fielder's throw.

Why didn't the umpire ask the Australians if they would like to withdraw their appeal? This was far more unsporting than the Mankading incident!

Cricinfo:
this is going to get very nasty. Tendulkar is run out, but Lee was in his way as he ran through. Back of a length outside off stump, Gambhir drops it to point and Tendulkar responds for a single. Lee ran across the pitch towards the ball, and then stopped to observe as Warner ran in from point and under-armed it. Lee needn't have been there, but he was. And he wasn't there intentionally to block Tendulkar, but he did. Tendulkar threw his arms up in frustration the moment the ball hit the stumps, but that's out by the laws of the game. He was not even in the frame. Every innings, we have a bone of contention!

Yap, laws which are different for each team:rolleyes

The king of the golden arm does it again. Over to you Christian and McKay.

----------

There is golden arm number 2.

Well Watto might've looked rusty with the bat, but the beauty of the ball is you always get another chance, killing it :cheers :clap :D

With this sort of team we could bring in another spinner for probably Hilfy. Maxwell would be useful as he could give it a tonk.
