The winners are as following:

Test Batting Performance of the year : Virender Sehwag, for his 201 not out against Sri-lanka. Graeme Smith's 154 not out lost out by a single point!

Test Bowling Performance of the year : Dale Steyn, for his 5 for 67 against Australia.

ODI Batting Performance of the year : Sanath Jayasuriya's 125 off 114 balls against India in the Asia Cup final.

ODI Bowling Performance of the year : Ajantha Mendis' 6 for 13 against India in the Asia Cup final.


Cricinfo Reader's Choice Awards :

Test Batting Performance of the year : Sachin Tendulkar's 103 not out against England.

Test Bowling Performance of the year : Dale Steyn, for his 5 for 67 against Australia.

ODI Batting Performance of the year : Sachin Tendulkar's 117 not out against Australia.

ODI Bowling Performance of the year : Ajantha Mendis' 6 for 13 against India in the Asia Cup final.


I'd swap Smith's 154 not out as the best Test innings, while Sachin's 117 not out would be the best ODI innings. Rest is spot on I'd say. Your opinions?!

I voted for Shakib's 7/36 as the best test bowling. Sachin's CB 100 for best ODI batting, JP Duminy for best test batting, and Mortaza's 4 wickets for best ODI. I felt Mendis got his wickets by more bad batting and the Indians not knowing what to expect rather than brilliant bowling, but Mortaza did excellently in his spell.
