Cricket Academy Feedback/Suggestions/Bugs Thread

^ AV = Anti Virus

I personally get a SmartScreen error on running it, but the only message is 'Unknown Publisher'. So it's not actually detecting a threat of any kind.

Obviously make sure you're downloading it from download.cricketacademygame.com to be sure.

Norton!! I don't think I can turn it off!

I was downloading from the planet cricket link.

No matter what I try norton removes it saying casetup_exe097.exe removed.

Via Norton you can reset the file and make Norton ignore it. If it is removed it will put it back again....via the quarantine screen I believe....

How do I do that

Hi Ross just a suggestion if it is possible to link CA players to real life players to download stats online from a website maybe that would really do wonders as most players people would have in their team would be current players whos stats would keep changing. So if i had to only link them once and probably could update the players stats by just clicking on a update button would be amazing. I am sure you must have given it a thought and since it isn't there i am not sure if its a technical issue or a licensing one.

You would to obtain permission from a website (such as cricinfo) and there would be all kinds of money involved to obtain the rights to do that - money that can be better spend in R&D on how to get accurate motion captured pigeon animations...

Just add them yourself. Customize your own game. Make it your own.

What will probably be possible would be to create a memory editor to allow you to auto fill the stats in the cricket academy from the site instead of manually typing them all in.

Obviously it would make sense to wait for the final game for that, as the memory locations would likely be different in the real thing.

All will be fine on the stats front. More will become clear in the next Academy Update.
