Cricket Heroes - testing & feedback

Speaking of online games...how should disconnects be treated? The person who disconnected forfeits and is docked points? What about people who bowl 100 wides to waste time?

DBC14 identifies people trying to waste time in the field doing all sort of things. Like changing field settings after every ball etc. by having a count-down timer. If someone exceeds it, the opponent is asked if he would like to take a win.I guess you can't do much about people bowling wides on purpose. However, it will be good if people could be forced *not* to appeal on every delivery.

Hmm, interesting. I might try something like that. Luckily the game only lets you appeal when the ball hits the pads or there's a snick, so that *shouldn't* be too much of a problem...

@SetonHallPirate: Eek! I think I need to clean up what gets stored. I think it's related to storing the results of every single ball. I'll try to get a patch out over the weekend before I release the network stuff.

I'm struggling to get the network synching working smoothly :( I think I need to take a short break and come back to the problem. I'll still be around to fix bugs though, so please let me know if there's anything else that needs fixing :spy

Hi Kurt! Remember me? :)

Just wondering if you ever managed to get around to adding weather into the simulation?
