Sadly it was a bit of a thrashing by Part over young Kirk Sheppard by the young lad will be back. He ownly earned 8 Grand a year and now hes got 60 Grand from being runner up. It turned out to be the World Championships off upsets and bad performences anyway Bring on the Premier League!

Was 50 grand that he won, but yeh, one hell of a good payout for the young lad. He did alright last night, at least he didnt lose 7-0. It was the first time that we'd actually seen him really struggling, his head got low and he was missing his treble 20's, but then not making it up on the 19's, which he had been doing so well against Peter and Mardle. Good tournament for the lad, look forward to seeing him in the grand slam of darts.

Darts is as much a sport as Snooker and Pool, and is much more of a sport than Wrestling, as Hoop said, at least Darts is competitive.

Darts has two people competing against each other, Wrestling has people actingwith each other.

EDIT - Is it called the PDC World Championship?

The tournament just gone was called that, but the next big tournament is the PDC Whyte & Mackay Premier League of Darts. James Wade's gotta be up there for this tournament, Taylor's been off form of late, and Barneveld looks out of sorts in the World Championship, that was because of flu though, well man-flu anyway . I'm predicting a Taylor-Wade final, Adrian Lewis could spring a few surprises though.

James Wade, Phil Taylor, Raymond van Barneveld and John Part for the semis I think. Wade has had a good year, Taylor will want to better himself after that poor WC, Barney will be fit and raring to go again, and Part will be still on a high after winning the WC.

How is Andy Fordham doing now?

Andy is on the mend, and I think he even took part in the qualifiers for the BDO World Championship, not sure on that but I know he's competed somewhere.

On the Premier League, there are rumours Gary Anderson is going to be joining the PDC and taking the wildcard spot in the competition.

Is he another BDO competitor ? If so, i'm a little bored of BDO players joining the PDC. Barneveld's the only one who's proven that he's good enough. Klaasen is very far down the rankings, King is average, i just dont think the standard of BDO players is good enough to be competing with the PDC players. It's obvious that they're just aiming for more money as there's barely any money in the BDO. PDC > BDO.
