dbc hacks: fearsome tweak v2.90 +minigame v0.03

Australia 48/4 in response to Bermuda 143 all out (bowling as both teams). Australia set realistically, Bermuda almost totally minimum skills. So yeah, still not seeing a huge difference between the teams here.

Who's batting for Australia? You? Or you bowling?

Sorry just re read it!

More to the point, why don't you just play with normal international teams and you don't really have an issue ha!

What fields so you set, because I have not had anyone be 45/4 in about 20 games!

Does sound odd. What's the match type, pitch/weather conditions etc? What type of wickets, what's your field?

Test match, grassy hard pitch, always a spinner from one end and a quick from the other end for the both teams.

The cricket was sublime, with all the different wickets you could expect from a proper cricket match. I even got an edge which was given not out because it was a bump ball. But I lose all sense immersion if my J.Edness is as good as my D.Warner. There was no noticeable difference in any batsmen when it came to power or timing.

I'm going to have a bat with the patch and see if there are any differences for me.

I know it's weird to bowl as both teams. But I like to just play out a realistic match, not for any particular team over a season or something.

Agreed. But I'd still say when looking for realism when did you last see Bermuda v Australia? So why bother haha!

With all those great dismissles play test nation v test nation and enjoy as much as I did earlier today!

I get your point though!

It's for testing. I'm using the extremes because I still don't believe there is any difference at all in the skills of any of the players (from personal experience I must add). However because I love the game so much I am trying to debunk my own theory.

One thing I did notice was in career mode, as my batsman skilled up, he got noticeably better.

Bermuda having a bat now and are 14/3 with the patch on. However I am told the patch is very difficult to bat with so this might be just because of that :)

What are the Bermuda batsmen set to though? I played 6 matches PAK(me) vs IND with the lowered skill settings and it was abysmal and this was 6 matches on v1 let alone the dozen I played with 0.04 with lowered skills and as soon as I bumped it up to max skill for the AI batsmen I noticed a HUGE difference (IND scoring 307-9 vs me with patch v1.00)

Crack on!! Ha![DOUBLEPOST=1464985434][/DOUBLEPOST]South Africa 180/8 against the Windies on TV.

There's skill settings must be wrong!!!

Pahaha hey easy easy! I'm all for testing purposes and believe you me I am on you and @blockerdave side when it comes to the variation...if I'm 100% honest all of my frantic testing posts are out of pure excitement for the possibilities of this game...I've been drooling for something like this since the year 2000!!! :p

Bermuda set to the lowest skills I can get. Why would I bump them up? It's Bermuda. Australia ended up 68 for 6 with higher stats, for me there is no difference.

Hmmm that's really really bizarre, are you playing with the hack on high settings or something? I have never got any team out under 100. To be honest it is still early to say if stats do anything, it could be a possibility they don't but some of the testing we've done so far does show that boosted stats made a difference, a big difference for me. I have maxed out India's batting stats + aggressive mentality for all the batsmen (they're my test dummies if anyone is wondering)

You're bowling and playing yourself?

it will have better gameplay, better balance, better use of player attributes. So it will be raccomended to use teams with
normal stats.
With slow ball i mean that batsmen seem to struggle more against medium pacers and spinners, instead very fast bowlers
are more predictable, but i'm not sure about this.
