dbc hacks: fearsome tweak v2.90 +minigame v0.03

Sibi you and I have had differing views on a few things recently but that is a fantastic video. If you were trying to make a trailer for a game it could hardly be much better than that.

Thanks guys. And yeah I had earlier mentioned that DBC14's cameras have great potential. I also want to note that the sudden slow motions were completely made in-game. If the engine itself uses it, then we would have amazing replays that we don't want to skip during matches.

Awesome video mate. What software did you use to edit it?

Haha, thanks a lot mate :)

To reiterate the power of instant replay, I can surely say that I could have done this with Windows Movie Maker and still would have got the same result. I simply did nothing but trim and put together in Premiere Pro.

marvelous video sibi ^^ thanks for mention the mod.

Uploaded v2.11

-edge chance is now based on batsman skill.
Usage: just run the hack, all is automatic. If you want to change the batsmen skill, click on the small box and set a skill value.

The batsmen now can make mistakes according to their skill, the edge chance is: 1 on batsman skill value (for example a strong
batsman has a value of 80, his chance is 1 on 80). I dont know if it's a good formula, i'm still testing it.
So, if Amla is still at the crease after 2 days, set his strength to 1 and yorker him.

In the next version the "error chance" will based also on the bowler skill and the "bowling score" (you can see these values in the console window).
I wanted to add these already, but i'm writing the code in assembler and i needed a little time to write it. Also in the next version it
will be influenced by the shot selected and the condition of the ball.

Amazing. Just what I have wanted, bad players to play badly! Without wanting to ask for too much, would you be able to make their "mentality" mean something? I don't see a lot of difference between brutes and conservative when bowling at them. I will get testing. You sir are a doyen of DBC 14.

Top stuff franco cannot wait to try it out.

So in the next edition seeing off the new ball in first session will be important? That's what I like to hear.

@SibiNaayagam mate the video is first class, pleasure to watch.

@francobaldo1 this sounds amazing, has anyone given it a go yet?

yes - actually sorry @francobaldo1 but 2.11 feels like a rare misstep. to be honest it felt like playing with no hack: tailender scoring a 50, shots i've not seen in a while like very fine leg clip for 6 off a yorker, and all dismissals caught in the outfield. i was getting the bowler scores for each delivery so i assume the hack was working but the gameplay didn't feel like it.

Hack definitely works as I just set the batsmen level to 1 and they all nicked off every ball. However game crashed a few times and as @blockerdave said the game play didn't feel like the old Hack. For me 1.02 on Normal is still the holy grail.

I understand this search for attributes to mean something but I dont know if Dave agrees with me but my tail end still never seem to bother me!!

yes, definitely the formula will be improved, the main thing is that now a weak team will rearely win against a strong team. Maybe try to bowl against a team
that has batsmen of level 20-30.

rarely bother me. indeed in fairness as the hack showed the guy who scored the 50 had skill 47 so actually tailender was unfair he's a lower order. although there was a 30-odd from a guy with only 19.

i switched back to 2.10.

a nicely set up game. it's on legend and i'm playing as Associate All Time, batted in 2.10 with chances at 11 and scored 481 in 97.3 overs. Sri Lana All time reached 230-odd/3 on 2.10 chances 12 and i played up to 390/7 on default 2.11. switched back to 2.10 and innings finished on 437.

So it's almost lunch on the 3rd day, and i'm about to start my second innings 44 ahead.

I had a game crash, bowling at Zimbabwe about 270/7. Raza had 80 odd and Cremer 67, who is in my ratings a tailender. I think he was rated about 20 odd. I haven't really seen enough to report if this version is a backward step or not.

Strangely Raza (who is aggressive I think) plodded along very slowly to 50 and then cut lose. Am I right in thinking that the match situation is more important than the attributes as far as AI aggression is concerned?
