Hopefully dbc17 will be moddable too.
Developing this small mod has been very helpful this year, worst year of my life since i lost my mother in March.

Probably there will be still some more updates, wished i could release version 3 sooner, but a lot of small coding problems
have delayed it (nothing too complicated luckily). I was able to introduce various new things like top edge, bat pad etc.

Thanks @francobaldo1 I am waiting for the update as the 2.85 has given up on me since yesterday. I get an error message saying 'Cheat engine has stopped working.'

You surely are a genius. Big Ant did a great job for the community by giving us an incredibe game but it was your mod that got people to love the game even more especially after BigAnt compromised a wonderful patch 2. Cheers mate and thank you for the wonderful moments your mod has provided.

I lost my stepmum in a car accident a couple of weeks ago.

Keeping busy is the best medicine. I am endeavoring to start a business in the short term. I hope keeping busy with this hack has helped you get through the year, and with DBC 17 being a bit, well, lukewarm, I think playing your mod is going to help me get through the next one.

I've missed a lot of updates haha should I be using the latest hack? I think the last one I was using was 2.05 alpha or something. I'm still intending to play DBC14 for a long time

i have uploaded a new version (2.90), it uses the old slow loader so should work for everyone (until the new fast loader is ready).

edit:
INSTRUCTIONS: run the hack and the game AS ADMINISTRATORS, when you are in the menu
of dbc, press START on the hack program.

The main difference is just the new strength hack that works well (with a visible effect everytime).

I have removed the "exagerated" edge physics because sometimes the effect was not realistic, the new version will have some more
edge variety.

Just a general question, but what direction are you intending to take the hack? Could we see automatically where batsman power is linked to their strength setting in the academy? Pitch conditions having more of an effect? Automatic mentality linked to their academy mentality? I know I am sounding demanding, and you have all the time in the world. This sim sometimes feels like the finished article with your outstanding work

actually i thought that dbc17 would have been released on pc by now, so last month i was just debugging the code. Yes everything is gonna be automatic, my dream is
a "cricket captain" with dbc engine.
About the strength hack, what i'm doing for now is just change the speed of the ball.
About setting the strength in the academy, it looks that the value is used mostly when bowling, so i'm not sure on what
would be the results. If you give max strength to Chris Gayle, i think it will bowl 150mph deliveries. I'll try to check these
things soon.
