I'm not at all sure whether or not this has been covered, but I've just been doing some player editing. I want fairly accurate skills and attributes for the teams I use and some of the downloadable ones seemed a bit off (for example I was editing Ryan Harris and he had perfect stats in all bar one bowling category, I'll conceed he's good, but not that good surely).
Anyhow, I was working through Australia and had them looking pretty accurate to me. I don't pay a lot of attention to world rankings, but in my opinion, I'd say they are probably the best side in the world right now. I was prepared to find post-editing that they'd be around 4 star batting and four and a half bowling.
That'd probably be appropriate, but I came out of editing and they were three and a half stars for both batting and bowling. I went back in and made a few more generous, but careful changes (focusing on bowling) and it might've been my mind tricking me, but I got the impression that the half star on bowling was somewhat more covered. So, I thought, keep editing and maybe give the odd batsman a few very minor bowling stats (hey everyone can bowl a little) and hoped that this would help too.
When I exited, the bowling stars had gone
down to 3. I was very surprised by this, thought "3 - 1/2 stars might be as high as it goes", so I went back in to remove the bowling points given to those batsmen and afterwards exited and it was still on 3 stars for bowling.
So, I'm confused as to whats going on, whether it's an identified bug or not, but I haven't seen any sides rated over 3 1/2 stars in any of the overall ratings.
This is different however when it comes to the ratings out of five for a team's various aspects (Top, middle, lower order, pace, spin attack). These seem to display accurately.
Is there any info on whats going on with this? Apologies if I'm behind on an older issue.
