Dec 3-7: 2nd Test: Australia v England at the Adelaide Oval

Well the only thing left for the australian fans to complain about is Clarke and Ponting's batting, Ponting's captaincy, Siddle and Doherty as bowlers and North as a player

I agree only with bowlers and North

Where's Krejza or whatever his name is these days? He surely can't be any worse than Horrowitz and doherty.

Dear oh dear another dropped catch. These two really should put the pull shot away, it is the only way they look like getting out.

I reckon KPs current form is a bit underrated, he made 40 odd during the toughest conditions of the 1st Test. He might get a big one here if he gets past the initial bit

He likes batting at Adelaide, but there's always a risk with KP that he'll throw it away.

Doherty is way too short, needs to keep it up there and let KP do something crazy like he did the ball before.

If anyone had said 2 months ago that Mitchell Johnson and Ben Hilfenhause would be dropped, and Xavier Doherty and Ryan Harris would be bowling in tandem in the Ashes, I don't think anyone would have believed him...

They probably would have believed Hauritz being dropped tho.

Cook is continuing his wonderful form. That is quite wonderful to see.
This test might be quite interesting if England can get a large lead over Aussies.

Pieterson is looking like his old self. That is not a good thing for Aussies.

Cook you beauty :clap

Good to see Australia getting a beating if that will result in selectors finally making the obvious decisions like dropping batsmen who continue to fail(like north) .This Australian team just doesnt seem right an I've said it for a while now.Two openers who get starts and don't make the opposition pay.Its not like Clarke and Ponting are setting the world on fire( but ofcourse they're still class act so I would stick to them.Good news though is Hussey is in form. How north keeps gettting pick after failing so much is still a mystery to me.People might think there arent better options out there but that simple isn't true.Hughes, Khawaja are two of the most talented young batters I've seen.Ferguson seems really talented to but let him have a strong season first. When are we finally going to rebuild this Australian team.My team .Hughes,Katich,Ponting,Watson, Clarke,Hussey,Haddin,Harris,Hauritz/Copeland, Hilfenhaus ,Bollinger.

XJ Doherty 15-3-70-0 Econ: 4.66

As Mitch Johnson Freddie Mercury would say, another one bites the dust?
